Like my all time favourite investor Peter Lynch used to say, if you ask people why they bought the stock their repply is "because the sucker is going up". This applies greatly to most tech stocks 😂 The 80% drop to some of these will reverse everything back to normal

I know at some point a bull market ends and a bear begins, it goes on and on... I have a 7 figure ballpark goal and I intend spreading across maybe 50k - 150k on plummeting stocks, my question is how can I know when a market bottom has been reached?
Great description of the curret financial markets... Ropes are getting more and more tense... Something will break eventually and things will get scary but we should not fight the trend!
It’s very important to those in power that you keep your head in the sand as to what is occurring in the world right now. It’s okay, just continue to pretend that nothing is going on. Because we know that if we keep pretending that it will all magically just go away.
Annual return of s&p was 13% since 3000 level from 2019 to 5600 level now including dividend that is about 15%...it is insane...bond yield is3 times of spy dividend...time for correction...

@@Yahniboy yep unemployment is rising, and jobs created just 200,000? It’ll get revised down like always. The charts also don’t state how many jobs are part time and how many jobs were lost?

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation
Probably It’s about the mega caps because there are many stocks that did not even reach their peak of 2021…so, I woukd say that there will not be another crash in a while…I am sorry for the people who were waiting with cash another crash in 2024…never time the market, be conservative in your assumptions, do your own homework and with a long term orientation..
But the risks are too high with the current economic conditions to be participating for the long term.

The fall will be huge, but it won’t happen in one single day alone. I am daytrading and swinging trading as it goes. Definitely not buying and holding anything for the long-term.

AAPL breakouts were unreliable since 2020. It seems overbought on a long term chart. MSFT at upper trend line resistance. NVDA not making new highs while SPX does, which is a warning sign.
so the spx will move higher to 6k but only with the top 3 pushiing it there? hmmm....gunna need the others to join in for sure....imo

My prediction is that the ai singularity is going to keep driving the market upwards until agi hits, and then none of us have to work anymore, and it doesn't matter how much money the market earns come up because everything will be free anyways. Keep dollar cost averaging boys!

For boomers and senior citizens, the current market and economy are unnecessarily harder. I'm used to simply purchasing and holding assets, which doesn't seem applicable to the current volatile market, and inflation is catching up with my portfolio. My biggest concern is whether I'll survive after retirement.

Just DCA into the SP500 and let time do its thing. Keep some liquidity around in the event of large correction. Done
So the lesson I learned was, only buy the S&P 500 or you will be left behind when the economy is sick. And sprinkle in some QQQ and SMH as the AI frenzy is buying the beer.

There have never been so many signs that there is an imminent Black Swan event coming. From the TLT to the yield curve inversion in the next 2-3 weeks, to BTC (an all liquidity based investment) dropping like a rock while new highs on the SPY. Unfortunately shorting the market for any long period of time is a no go for anyone not already well off

equal weight qqq is breaking out to new all-time highs. Tech is strongest and leading right now. the rest of the S&P companies will catch up, and when it does we will probably see a correction to follow IMO

Economy is weakening largely because of high interest rates, when fed decides to cut we are going to see an even stronger economy and maybe greater diversification of growth sector wise and possibly new highs on markets yet because of overstretch any meaningful bad news will cause great crashes

I did that and missed out on 30% growth. If you’re investing long term, it’s best to dollar cost average through it. I’m finding the problem of the you tube algorithm is it recommends videos similar to ones you’ve watched before. This creates a feedback loop on negative bias against the market, and that fear will see you sitting on money that would normally grow. I’ve timed the market twice. One was COVID - I saw where things were heading in February and pulled out. Then I bought back in May at the bottom. The other time I made a big move, I lost 40%. Doing the math, I would have come out way ahead if I had just stayed in the market and dollar cost averaged the whole time.
A lot of small caps are ready to explode, so imo the small-med caps will catch up rather than a crash. Rate cuts would do this

Never sale if it's a company you believe in.Take advantage of the correction instead if it happens. You only loose when you sell.

Interesting video I'm in my 50s and I'm more interested in investments that could set me up for retirement , I mean I've heard of people that netted hundreds of thousands during these crash, I listened to someone on a podcast who earned over $650K in less than a year, what's the strategy behind such returns?
