That was like 8 years ago but these random videos I watched ended up influencing my dancing and led to me going out a lot more so i guess your little videos had a snowball kind of effect on me

Yes, I've seen set guys shuffle. But I must admit that it would probably take more of your time to smoothen it according to your body. I also hope this doesn't stop you from trying your hardest to control it.
keinxblaze Try and found out. and just so you know my buddy was heavy set and we use to play DDR (and he got up to heavy on it the high level) not only did he get good over time from going slow to getting faster, but he also lost a lot of weight from doing it 30 minutes a day! and being some one that is good at DDR. learning this feels about the same in terms of cardio. really gets me sweating and heart rate up.
+keinxblaze more weight means higher risk of hurting yourself but you can minimize this risk with practicing
so in theory yes and the more you do the lesser risk of hurting yourself and you could probably lose weight by doing this since you will burn calories

I use to do the running man like this (my basic shuffle I guess) and it was waaayyy easier for me to go out then back in. the wide step one, but I stopped doing it. BC I thought it was the wrong way lol guess I have one part down good now. :D

What shoes are they?
This is not Melbourne shuffle. Actually the basic move of the melb. shuffle is the T-step, which you don't even show. Also, the Melbourne shuffle is freestyle, with only one move, you can't do much. This is only a basic running man variation.
Not trying to be offensive, but it's just to inform people, this isn't the melbourne shuffle.
