I will never forget one of locals reactions to the damage. There had been some shoddy repairs done temples not reflecting the original architecture by the powers that be and this earthquake had erased all that. "This is how I remember them. This is how they should be." he said.
I published this because it is the 5th Anniversary today August 24th.

It's very scary. I went through quite a few while living in Bali. It leaves you shaken up for some time. I 🙏 no-one was hurt.
