I stayed up until 7am 🕖 watching this video, because it was so detailed and informative. I couldn’t stop watching! So satisfying to see an artist at work.
The (1981-1987) Buick Regal is one of my favorite cars. I had a '87 Regal Limited ridin' on 14" × 7" chrome Astro Supremes and whitewalls, blue on blue.
man... I really appreciate you posting these videos. I'm 15, want to get started with painting cars, and dude can I say this was just so fun to watch you work. Keep it up man, God bless ✌
I had 2 leave from Apple TV to my phone so I could comment. Man I'm over here sitting in awe. Yall did a dope azz job man!! What a beauty. Yall truly got down. 🫡 Mad skillz......
Respect for the talents of the painter and Biggie the gold leaf magician. Amazing work, the candy job is out of this world; the graphics are just awesome. Thanks for the efforts of the video too. Huge job by itself!
Great video! Watched the whole thing! Love this job! But man the first coat of clear you out on so nice. got lazy with the second ;) starting and stopping spray trigger on the car;) I’m playing. I couldn’t do this well
I painted my Camry candy black cherry pearl over black. Complete color change used Grant 7. Got it to lay down but not as good as yours. Had a couple of body shops; however, have not painted anything in 14 years or so. People do not understand how much work it takes to paint something like your lowrider. Great job. Douglas Thompson
Hello, First of all, I would like to start by saying that you do excellent work and I enjoy your videos! I wanted to tell you a way to explain Sealer to the person who asked about it. Your answer wasn't wrong, I just thought this might be helpful. Sealer is a 'Barrier'...! Sealer keeps the chemicals that you are spraying from mixing, penetrating or reacting with the chemicals underneath it. Newly applied chemicals can react with years old stuff in the surface of the car. Like my GrandPop used to say, 'There's a Multitude of Sins under enough layers of paint!"! He was Right. He also used to say 'You can Hide a Multitude of Sins, under a few Good layers of Paint!'. He was right about that Too! Anyway, that usually helps a painter who is New to Sealer, to get his head around the Sealer and what is going on there! I hope that both of Ya'll find this helpful. Yall Take Care, I have a Wavy 1976 Ford F150 and a 'straight' 1966 Ford Fairlane to get back to! Take Care, John
Impeccable work absolutely beautiful no wonder you guys get so much for shooting a Vehicle. Thanks, good video very interesting, very informative. Glad I got to see it..
Iv been so busy with work and holidays I haven't had a chance to look at your videos. This project was by far my favorite out of all the ones you've done.. hope all is well with you and your family. God bless and happy new year.
Im working on a 70roadrunner that ive been back n forth on what color to paint. I'm thinking B5 candy blue with satin black hood stripes and an alligator pattern black vinyl .
Damn man that is nice work you've got some skills you and your leafer/pinstriper tedious work but damn looks great for not having a real booth great job 👍🏽
First thing I learned in auto body and paint school was how to lay down a fairly consistent paint layer and your technique is exactly what they tought us not to do.
@1:42:10 Do you need to sand it down again if you are NOT adding graphics? It looks so nice once you added the last clear coat. BTW, found your channel and I subscribed because you are nice and slow in explaining what YOU do. Difficult to find auto body classes in Southern CA. San Bernardino Valley Community college is a joke, they have the equipment, just a lack of great teachers. You are a GREAT teacher. I would pay for your class! Thanks for having this channel and hope for the best for you, take care.
Beautiful work. What an artist you are. What do you use for the candy carrier? Can a paint job like this be done with 1K primer, 1k base , 1k clear to use as intercoat/clear/candy and flake carrier?
Hey mate, awesome video, thanks. I want to apply some low rider type patterns to the roof of my '68 beetle. Gonna practise on other stuff first though. If you only have one gun will the flakes be impossible to clean out after? Or can you use one gun for everything?
Brother, Hope you and your family had an enjoyable holidays I really do enjoy watching your art of painting and this Buick Regal is no exception, That Buick is really a show car, beautiful workmanship
Can you send me the names of all the paint equipment you purchased very great video im going to do my cadillac exactly like your video my first time please and thank you
How do you decide when to use filler primer or just sealer before paint? I would've thought filler primer here over the body work but I guess you don't have to?

I sanded my car that I had 4 coats of metal flake with 600 grit, then 1000 do you think 600 is good enuff and won't show any scratches when I spray the candy
Ok I’m also using red pearl over black base coat to make my own version of black cherry… can I spray the pearl over the black cherry holographic flake ..? After I clear over the flake and sand it then I can spray the pearl right …?
Thanks for the video! Just got myself an 85 Buick regal limited. I want to learn to do the work myself and this video will help me lots. Just having trouble deciding the color I want to paint. It has a grey/ smoky blue interior. What’s a few colors of paint u think would go best with the interior ? My favorite color is brown🤎 but not sure if it would look good w the grey / smokey blue interior 🤔
