What a beautiful, honest conversation about motherhood. It's very important to have a good balance and have those moments of having some me time, doing things you love and enjoy and don't ever feel guilty about it! I was very lucky to have my mum who would look after my son so I could have a night out now and then with friends, then have that special time with my son going to the park, cinema etc, it's all about balance 💙
It's such a delight to see a lovely young family, who are influencers, but keep it so real, it's just so refreshing, you are both fabulous parents and Noah is growing so fast and inquisitive, he's such a little star X

I live in Florida and we prefer the natural springs to the beach. There’s so much to do, swim, kayak, snorkeling and it’s just lovely. Plus no beach sand goes home with you
& you're right lol, indoor days are the absolute best, especially when its raining outside. Indoor cleaning days too!!!🥰
I went to an October wedding and it was the most beautiful I had ever been too (including my own!!). They had autumnal colours and pumpkins as table decorations. It was absolutely stunning.
This video is so heart warming. I wish I had half the relationship with my daughter as you do with Noah at his age. I had awful PnD and returned to work when she was 6 weeks old. At times I wish I could rewind the clock and go it again. It’s the most beautiful thing to observe you’re an amazing mum ❤

You are such a good Mum! Noah is thriving and is such a happy little baby. He’s moving around so fast....walking soon I bet. Thats when you really have to baby proof your home. Gemma I’m with you, I love Autumn and Winter. People think I’m weird. It’s so crisp and cool and I love the cozy clothes and hot drinks etc. Too much sun and heat actually depresses me. I’m in the US but I had my wedding the first week of October and it was perfect 72 degrees. I think an Autumn wedding suits you. Thank you for another lovely vlog 💟

I remember feeling like this and its awful when your going through it, mine are teenagers now but I remember that lost feeling like it was yesterday, I think hormones have a big part to play in it and can take a while to settle, you will get there honey 😊 x

I find summer heat stressful too, so I’ve made a plan this time. Outfits I’d like to wear, foods / drink and activities I’d enjoy. Made a mood board, and lists. Finally feeling a bit excited for the first time in like five years.

I don't like UK summers either. I love it on holiday and make a point of going somewhere hot, but when you go away abroad they have air con and there's a breeze from the sea etc... In the UK you just can't escape it, it's horrible, especially at night x

Things I love to do in the summer are picnics in Flatford. A seal watch boat trip in Walton on the Naze and also a good walk with our dog around the Naze area too!

Like you, Gemma, I hate the hot weather. We got married at the beginning of October. We had perfect weather all day and a beautiful sunset in the evening. I would definitely recommend it.

Favorite things to do in the summer: evening campfire with a glass of wine in the backyard. In the evening so it’s not too hot 😅 I also have summer anxiety. Day trips to the lakeshore, too. I’m excited 😁
Holkham has the best beach! Even in the summer as its is so large you never feel its over crowded
Just a heads up on the wedding food - this was our dream too, to literally get a venue and do a massive potluck but a lot of them require actual caterers with insurance in case people get food poisoning as the caterers take responsibility but if you don't hire officially then the venue can be sued! Every venue we looked at had this same rule so just double check if you meant about cooking your own foods etc that the venue will allow this. If you meant outside catering then this is usually totally fine!!
It worked out for us as covid cancelled our reception so we ended up doing it in the field of an air bnb and getting take away pizzas and home cooked foods etc!

I really recommend Thirsk lodge barns as a venue my brother had his wedding there and omg it was so beautiful and such a cosy atmosphere it’s in York so idk where it is from you but thought it was a great recommendation for your wedding reception 🤍
Wedding planning was the easiest thing, and the day was even more perfect than i could imagine!
Best Summer Days have to be at home with a paddling pool for little ones
That way you can go in and out when it's to hot
Always nice to get out for a morning or evening walk when it's cooler

I am 7 weeks postpartum and I am finally gonna be getting my hair done and eye brows done. I have so many overwhelming thoughts and I'm just trying to do the best I can. Listening to this and what you said has made 100% sense and this is why I love watching your content because you speak facts and I just cannot watch you. I feel like I need to have you as my best friend. You and Jamie are pure life goals and before I had my little girl it was just me and my partner and now we have our daughter I find it hard to make time for myself. (Hope that makes sense) we are planning getting engaged this year and hopefully married next year. Planning a weeding is so excited and I am here for your wedding series!!! 🩷🩷🩷 Love you and Jamie and Master Noah are just perfect 🥰

I think around 9 months postpartum you feel a little more like yourself because baby is starting to become more independent and less clingy so you’re able to feel more relaxed. Also, if baby is sleeping better then most likely you are too. If baby is in more of a routine around that age then mama can feel more predictability throughout the day and you can get more accomplished making you feel productive and motivated. That’s how my experience has been with having 5 children at least. It’s definitely crazy how hormones can cause so many ups and downs postpartum! I’m glad you’re feeling better and I’m excited for your wedding planning! 😄🎉

I got married in the autumn time. Our wedding reception was held in a giant tippee, we had a open fire pit in the middle, clay oven pizzas, all the nibbles you can think of, pimms, and lots of autumn colours, oranges, rusts, brown, burgundy. And our wedding pictures are filled with loads of autumnal trees and leaves. Magical time to get married.

I couldn’t wait for my boys to be old enough to visit- Noah is too young atm, but you have GOT to check it out when he’s a bit bigger. Amazing Broadland, fantasy wooden adventure day out. It’s near Wroxham so a bit further for you but completely brilliant and worth the effort! 😘
With everything else you mentioned for the wedding, a fire pit would fit in nicely. With the blankets, etc.... it can be set up more elegantly....but it fits

The fact you now make matcha at home makes me so happy. The reason you don’t like it is probs cause Starbucks one’s have so much sugar and you get extra syrups! But what you have at home is more real proper matcha! You will grow to love it !!
