Awesome version. You are lying in a meadow, the wind moves the grasses and herbs and you look at passing clouds in this big blue sky. Thank you for posting this.
You may be but I am floating through underground forests filled with multicolored phantasmagorical plants and creatures. We ar all in love with one another. It smells like heaven.
Was this before the release of “Discreet Music”? I had stopped everything but a very occasional reefer at this point. Remember thinking I was glad to have lived this long and ‘who needs all that other stuff.’ Bravo!

You came here to see a show and from now on you will be able to enjoy it. Please go even further... but yes you have to stop smoking. Thanks. And for those who are using flash to take pictures, a request from Mr Fripp, please use a more sensitive film. Thank you"
Thank you for uploading this gem. I always knew Wind On Wind was originally a collaboration of Eno and Fripp, which turned into a solo Eno song (Discreet Music), but I never heard the live collaboration until now.
I feel this music has an agenda-something pushing (toward something?) the underlying modus operandi of Western Art. Brian Eno with his ambient loops discovered something else, natural music (sound) that isn't about anything, that doesn't become. It just occurs. I find this music intrudes, whereas "Discreet Music" does not.
Discrete music does not just occur. Being under the Artists creative control, even if that control has no immediately discernible effect on the product. It’s the means manipulated by the intention that are the creative act. What you describe about discrete music is it’s complete lack of formal structure as in beginning, middle and end to put it most plainly. To me, It starts takes its journey and stops, at the whim and design of the Artist. Please note I did not use the word end as it may restart, continue and stop again, differently.
@@laurencegoldman4639 your opinion is valid and I respect it but must disagree, Beethoven has as much control over his music as does Eno or Fripp for that matter In Fripps case see “Fracture”. Eno is the driver and creative force as much as Beethoven is. I would have chosen another composer rather than Beethoven as an example, but that is a whole other conversation.😀
I often meditate to Robert fripps fripper Tronics and Brian Eno's ambient music God bless the person that downloaded this this is great thank you
fripp and eno are super fino
Excellent!! RF and Eno...2 genius men!!!

@@hughjohnson2674 Of course what you say is true. BUT how this is accomplished and to what effect is at issue. It ain't Beethoven.
