Me and my dad watched a video you posted your carriage is running backwards to what it should be. You should pull the handle towards you to saw a line and away from you to return. A carriage should run slow the direction you saw and fast when you return the carriage and aren't cutting. You have the cable wrapped on the drum wrong. Not trying to be a no it all just trying to help you out.
Hello! Thanks for your comment, and thanks for watching our channel! I do know that it is backwards to how most saws run, but this is the way I’m comfortable running it, and I feel people should customize their equipment to work for them! We are very safety conscious, and this method doesn’t make it any less safe for us. We appreciate your concern, and hope you will continue watching!
When are you gonna put that saw under cover? Having asked this question, I must commend you on your willingness to help out your neighbors and customers on short notice as it probably is an emergency type situation.
Good seeing the mill operating. It was super cold here also..(2*F)...the coldest I've seen since February 1978.
Yeah it was pretty chilly. That’s cold.
You got some nice lumber out of that log. Too bad it was so cold. I'm waiting for warmer weather to run my mill.
I only saw when there are above freezing temperatures .
@@robintaylor-mockingeemill8223 frozen logs must be hell on the teeth and saw blade.
I prefer above freezing also............about 30 degrees above.
Not really. It saws through everything.
Thanks
Gonna have to get you guys some of those fancy communication devices. 😂
Good stuff.
I’m not milling. Too cold here!
I’ve been looking at some.
I thought that is what Judy said. Stay warm. ❤❤❤❤
Lol

Thank you. I try to get the orders out as they come in. Even if it’s freezing out. Lol I’m going to try this spring and summer.
You might keep a can of either handy to help with that situation
I’m not sure if that will de ice the carburetor. But I’ll try it.
