personally i dont do the "safe project" route because i am struggling for hd space lol. i do like your videos paul, great stuff! great videos! keep up that great work mate~
One thing to remember is to delete the project files when you are finally finished as they can be huge. Also, I am not quite sure about Lightroom being destructive. My understanding of Lightroom is that it keeps the history of all your changes as metadata so your original file remains untouched and when you open the file it applies your edits. In photoshop you have an advantage over Pixinsight's history as you say with smart objects. Thus your are able to change the settings of a tool many steps back in your history and still then have all the subsequent steps still apply. However, personally I process 90% of my astro images solely in Pixinsight. And for that I largely have you to thank.
Yes you are right about Lightroom. I haven’t used it all that much in quite a while, I had forgotten it had the ability to revert through revisions as well.
Just landed on your channel while looking for 'Drizzling'. Watched both parts. Very nice explanation of the hidden gem in PixInsight. I will definitely watch your other videos. Subscribed 🙂.
Thanks Rowan. New Bub! We have our hands full with a toddler and a baby. 5 minute Fridays was a smart move, hopefully I can record a few and schedule them up.
Thanks for another great video, congrats on your new family member.
Thanks Rick.
Short but very interesting. Knew about it but I never try it. I guess now I will use it. Thanks !
Thanks Christophe.

Yeah I get that. I don’t always use projects, they do take up huge amounts of space. Thanks for the compliments.
