I have a gen 2 and it has no chokes. I think because its the "LE" model. But i also think in the literature it says a fixed improved cylinder. Federal flite control wads seem to me to almost make chokes useless outside of waterfowl and upland hunting which id have a different shotgun fir anyway
Great video sir, however this weapon is extremely effective out to 50 meters and beyond with slugs. Let's not downplay the Beretta 1301 tactical and all the versatile roles it can fill!
The LE (law enforcement) version does not have a barrel threaded for replaceable chokes. I could be wrong, but I believe the marine version also does not have a threaded barrel.
Go videos.like Beretta. If you were to load they by. Or a comp model with mini shells ,do you know if they would cycle? DK anything about the mini shells or what variety s are available .would make a good video I think.lightest and heaviest loads ..curious.like& subscribed.
Exactly. Would much rather have seen how it performs with slugs at 50 yards and 100 yards. Would’ve also liked to have seen buckshot at say 10 yards and 30 yards.
Thats a Gen 1. Gen 2 is what’s out now. All have chokes as well. Incredible shotgun, perfect for zombies, 3 gun, other gun games.

Always a pleasure watching your videos. Thank you!

Gen 2 has a choke now
This guy proves one thing-it doesn’t matter where you’re from, a salesman is a salesman…
With good flight control 00 buck it’s good to 25 yards with slugs out to 100 yards
With no choke ..how do you think this would do turkey hunting
Hey dude thought I recognised you..... You still at City Guns?
The 1301 Tactical I have has a removable cyl bore choke. Maybe you have a Gen 1. Nice video though.
A useless feature for a fighting shotgun.

Mini shells will extract and eject but they won't reliably feed.
Can you shoot slugs in the Gen 2 that has the factory choke?
Factory choke should be cylinder bore, so yes.
It’s a shame that Beretta got cheap & cut out the plastic case. All you get now is a cardboard box when you purchase a 1301 these days!
I just purchased a Gen 2 last week and it came with the case.
CAN we put à pistol grip on it
Yes.
😻
WHY? Nobody cares how birdshot patterns in this gun.
Coz tactical model means u are likely shooting buckshot and slug
