Love this! Both autumn being a "state of mind" 🍁🍂🍁 - and pumpkin spice muffins! ❤️❤️❤️ Definitely need to make some of these soon - maybe right after the Bourbon Pecan Pie! 😊
@@MarilynMayaMendoza Hi, Marilyn! 🙋♀️ Yes, we get a very brief autumn here, and I treasure it! 🍁🍂🍁 But it was so nice to go up to Ashland, Oregon a few weeks ago for the Cozy Mystery Festival and see all the beautiful colors there. One of my daughters lives in Hawaii now. She and her partner stayed there after she finished grad school. She actually was here for a visit last week, but I need to plan a visit over *there*. Maybe next year! (I've never been there - even though my great-grandparents came to California from there. They were both Portuguese. 😎)
Hi, Kim! Great video. I don't have any specific books I like to read in the fall, but right now, I'm rereading the Bed & Breakfast series by Mary Daheim and relistening to the Flavia de Luce series by Alan Bradley. Love both of those series so much, especially Flavia. 🥰 I read some of the Little House books when I was a kid, but I don't remember very much from them. And I'm woefully "unread" on many of the classics, include anything from the Bronte sisters, except for Wuthering Heights, which I like. Speaking of Wuthering Heights, I think that might be a good winter season book to read. Bourbon Pecan Pie scent sounds delightful and I had the same thought you did: I wanna make a bourbon pecan pie now, lol! If you find a good recipe, please share! Might be something good to make for the Thanksgiving feast. How cool that you crochet. Crochet-work is so pretty. Would love to see some of your pieces. 😊 Hope you're enjoying the (somewhat) cooler weather!
@@TheWoodlandGardener Hi, Angela! 🙋♀️ So nice to see you here! Your comment reminded me how much I enjoyed reading the first book in that series by Alan Bradley - The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. I think I might need to re-read that and try continuing with the series! 😎 I will definitely let you know about the Bourbon Pecan Pie. I'll probably need to experiment a few times, right? To get it just right, you know. ☺️ Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, what's the name of your sewing channel again? Somehow I've lost it, and I can't find it listed on your garden channel. Loving the fall weather!!! 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
@@WildHeartsandWildflowers Heartily recommend the Flavia series. I enjoy listening to it via Audible because the narrator really brings the title character to life for me. My sewing channel is called Just Me & My Fabric. Maybe I should put it back in the description box on the garden channel. I just didn't know if there would be a lot of carryover.
@@TheWoodlandGardener I definitely think you should put the name and link of your sewing channel on your garden channel. I'm sure there are other gardeners who like to sew - or who aspire to get into sewing someday - or who just love your personality and style of sharing. 😊
What are the books you consider *your* comfort reads? Or which books do you enjoy reading in the fall?

Autumn is only a state of mind in coastal Texas. I did make some pumpkin spice muffins yesterday! I'm glad we have found each other's channels.

Great answers.
Love A Discovery of Witches series, hope you do so. You might also like the Three Sisters Trilogy by Nora Roberts.
@@readsandeats2263Thanks for the recommendation! I'll have to check out those Nora Roberts' books. (I'm assuming they're witchy-related. 😊)
@WildHeartsandWildflowers yes they are
