Your blitz speedrun is probably one of the youtube videos (series) I've seen the most of all youtube, just because of the combination of techno music + high level chess + your personality. Loved to see this all over again! (Never stop listening to this kind of music. It's a BANGER to have it in the background)

6:50 I'm 1100 blitz and you would be surprised how often people overlook this. You can set it up really easily in the Ruy Lopez. Bring your bishop to c2 when they kick it away.

Another speedrun idea: play only with either white or black pieces to 3000.
This is almost impossible to do. You get black/white basically 50% of the time. The only way you could get elo is by beating players much higher rated than you and losing to much higher rated. But you'd be getting such a minimal amount of elo since you are resigning games as the color that wasn't chosen.
Not to mention it'd be boring to watch and climb.

@@aftermath4096 Absolutely above 1700. I'm over 2300 and 90% of my games are still a ridiculous blunderfest, even in 3|0 blitz.
@@maxkho00 blundering is a natural of of the game, 1700+ is like 98th percentile, you can play games that are 90+ accuracy at that level, of course some games are absolute shit shows too
one day I will play Eric a game of chess ,but I dont know how to gift a sub or what is a sub or how to be cool . I grew up on a poatao dirt farm without electricity am not good with fast paced life ,but enjoy the game of chess and that's the way it is !!!

BLUNDER SPOTTED!!! 8:19 of the video. See if you can spot what GM cgy flames missed. (Don't worry, I'm not claiming I could ever in ten lifetimes beat Eric once in any time format).
He seemed to imply later in the video that he saw it but he wasn't going to go all out against these lower rated opponents. I don't think he was joking. Good find still!

I don't understand the hype for these speed runs. You're all GM level types and decide to slum it on new accounts to troll people of way less experience and skill levels. What's the draw here?
Eric is beating up on lower players so that he makes money from clicks. It's sad to see people cheering on a GM vs beginners. It's akin to cheering for the bad guys in Karate Kid against Daniel-san. Is Eric holding back and only using beginner tactics against beginners? No, he is using full GM tactics.
