‘Humanitys last champions’ in the new KU teaser could be a reference to evangelion as they call Eva Unit-01 ‘Humanitys last hope for survival’ in NGE and Evangelion 1.0.
Edit: not to mention that this guy literally has a ‘horn’ on its head just like Eva-01, and the shoulder things too. The spear has a spiral, just like the spear of longinus that Eva had in the old KU.

as someone who used to be in the EVA fandom, this is too true.
My theory (Singular point spoilers): Forged to Fall may be a reference to how Jet Jaguar sacrificied himself to stop Godzilla in the anime.
That also does reference Evangelion as a whole, pretty much all of the non mass produced units end up falling, even 01 is out in the coldness of space by the end of the series.

I think this will be a game original for a few reasons. Number 1: it definitely won’t be Eva because of the serious requirements like have mz at 15 and shin at 100 and kiryu 201 kills. None of those kaiju have been rehashed yet and it wouldn’t seem fair to those who had to grind all of those to unlock her. It likely won’t be JJB either as it was confirmed multiple times that JJB likely wouldn’t even be bothered to get a rehash. I wish it were Eva but it’s definitely a game original like incineros as the game shown in the past likes to hype those up a lot.
The requirements haven’t been the same for any kaiju yet. For example, ultima was put back into the game before JJB was, and they made his requirements a tad harder to complete now. (Level 75 NC, plus 50 volt.)

It is Eva 01. You can tell by the horn, and the faint spiral in her spear she used to have before shutdown.

@PhantomOfTheSeas why not? There are only 3 endgame in the game rn. Eva was the 3rd most voted kaiju to return, and even verret said since nc is just a reworked jjb, in which if jjb returned it would be a kaiju that is uneeded, as nc is just jjb but better.

Plus that would be dumb to work on many endgame kaijus considering we don’t have a lot of kaijus in the game at the moment and that would be really unfair for the newer or less experienced players

eva was actually somewhat part human in the anime so it's the most logical thing to do

And also the spiral pattern on crusa's spear resembles Eva's spiral pattern on Eva's spear so I'm also thinking it's Eva
the horn means nothing, as its a small part of the design and is not used in any important attacks

@@TheRealAllenIversonwell , grinding isnt that long in ku , u can get most endgames(except minilla ex) for 10 days per endgame kaiju. Suppose u play 1 hour per day(50k g cells per day) , it would take 15 days to accumulate g cells for destoroyah.

@@The_Goji_FanI highly doubt Crusa Humanitas is its name, all of the shadow teasers have had a little name like that (ex. Concentrated ember, or whatever it was for incineros) and it hasn’t been the name of the kaiju.

@@The_Goji_Fan the teaser they posted yesterday also hints towards it being the last line of defense for humans. If we know anything about Evangelion, we know that the Eva units are basically made as the last line of defense against the angels.
