I feel the frustration with being good but not feeling "good enough". Go work hard in college, I promise you you will be just as successful in whatever field you become passionate about!
I really like this college reaction video likes it’s so realistic. But congrats on the colleges you got into and I can’t wait to find out which one you’re attending 🥳🥳
Thank you!! I thought it was realistic too, which is why I wanted to share! It’s great that ppl can get into those really hard schools, but that’s not realistic for the majority of people. And, I plan on making a video about why I chose the school I did; just haven’t had time to film 😊
I love watching these kinds of videos! I’m 45, and long past my college years. But the application process is very interesting. The University of Washington is one of my alma maters. Beautiful campus!
I definitely knew that very little of finalists match, but I wouldn’t say it’s a trap. It’s amazing for the people who do match! I’m over not matching/not getting accepted anyways; I really like SPU!
My kid has a test score of 1400 and worked so hard and got rejected. It’s heartbreaking for a parent. He gave up posse and bill gates and all for nothing!! It’s disturbing and heartbreaking for a parent to see their child feels not good enough!! It’s sickening and it’s the same schools you applied to which I’m sure they’re going to reject him for early decision too
I can’t imagine what it feels like for a parent. But, I believe everything happens for a reason and I’m sure your child will end up exactly where he needs to be!
Are you able to apply to QuestBridge college partners through the Common App for regular decision while also participating in QuestBridge’s regular decision? Or are you only allowed to apply regular decision to colleges that are not partnered with QuestBridge through the Common App?
I’m not entirely sure I understand your question. I applied to Questbridge schools through Questbridge regular decision and then applied directly to the other schools not using the Common App. Any school that was partnered with Questbridge I only applied through Questbridge. If you did apply through both Questbridge and the Common App to the same college, then you would end up applying twice, and I’m not sure how that may affect your admission process.
Yes you are able to apply to QuestBridge college partners through the common app and through the QB regular decision. Most schools that are partnered with QuestBridge only require you to apply through Common App after the Match, while other schools allow you to apply using just your QB application. It really just depends on where you want to go. While QB, regular decision might seem more quick and efficient, if you really want to submit a great application to each college partner school, you would probably be best starting fresh by applying through the Common App. I know for me, after the match process I didn’t really like my QB application so I decided to apply to most of the partner schools through Common App.
I graduated with a 3.9 unweighted gpa, I took college in the high school classes since my school didn’t offer any AP courses, I also took one running start class, was super active in FFA (I was an officer for three years and did a total of 7 contests), I had about 400 volunteer hours, and was an active member of my church

Thank you so much for your kind words!!

It takes courage to br transparent and post your successes and the schools you didn’t get into. Much success in the future.
Woooo congratulations on the acceptances 🥳! You got into some amazing schools!!!!!!!! Have a great time at college :)
Thank you!!

I’m glad you enjoyed my video even tho you’re out of college! I’m thinking about going to UW for my master’s :)
Quest Bridge I swear is a trap! Only 2% of finalists match. Gives finalists a false hope. EA is the better way.
I definitely knew that very little of finalists match, but I wouldn’t say it’s a trap. It’s amazing for the people who do match! I’m over not matching/not getting accepted anyways; I really like SPU!
I’m proud of you!!! don’t let any type of rejections make you think ur not good enough in general, ur amazing🤎🤎
Thank you!

Yale is in Connecticut, not NY.
I noticed that after posting the video; there’s an edit in my description about it.

I graduated with a 3.9 unweighted gpa, I took college in the high school classes since my school didn’t offer any AP courses, I also took one running start class, was super active in FFA (I was an officer for three years and did a total of 7 contests), I had about 400 volunteer hours, and was an active member of my church
omg this makes me so sad ilysm dont cry
Don’t be sad! I def was at first, but now I’m superrrr excited to go to the school I chose!!
@@arisubeth yay!
Did you submit your application by common app for safety schools?
For safety schools I just did the online application from that schools website!
yale is not in ny...
I noticed that I misspoke after posting 😅. Probably should have left a comment/something in the description tho, thanks!
Congratulations!!
Sorry to correct you but you said Yale’s in NY which it’s actually in Connecticut 😂, it’s fine congratulations!!
Hey no worries! Thanks for the correction. I actually have an edit in my description about it as someone else pointed it out already!

Thank you!!
Just succeed wherever you attend!
