  • It was a pleasure to play with this racquet and it left me positively surprised, I honestly didn't expect to like it so much but now I'll tell you why.
This racquet is no joke, it's a competitive racquet in its own right and it needs constant attention and constant pushing to get it going properly, but when you give it a go it gives you back with a coin worthy of the effort and commitment.
It is a racquet that is good for the intermediate to advanced player, the beginner might find it a little difficult honestly speaking.
It is quite a versatile racquet, i.e. it retains its nature of being a nice all-rounder hybrid that can move all over the place. It plays great on groundstrokes, especially flat ones I must say. I found it to have a slight advantage on topspin shots, from a backhand point of view, very good. I noticed a slightly more pronounced ball curve when playing topspin, I saw a slightly higher launch angle compared to the previous model.
The frame is very stable on its own, I honestly didn't feel the need to add any kind of weight either on the handle or the stringbed. Strung with Head Lynx 22/21 kg.
Very high control, I liked this Speed a lot more than in previous years, still a technical racquet that requires a good level player. There is the need to be physically fit and to have decent arm speed.
I have no doubt in my mind, this racquet will definitely be a best seller again.
