Head Speed MP 2024: what a racquet!

It was a pleasure to play with this racquet and it left me positively surprised, I honestly didn't expect to like it so much but now I'll tell you why. This racquet is no joke, it's a competitive racquet in its own right and it needs constant attention and constant pushing to get it going properly, but when you give it a go it gives you back with a coin worthy of the effort and commitment. In the semifinals, he put on a real show to defeat defending champion and world No. 4 Daniil Medvedev 6-1, 6-2, in just over an hour. Two days later, in the final, he repeated himself against No....

Head Gravity Auxetic Mp & Pro: sexy!
Переглядів 7 тис.Рік тому
The HEAD Gravity Auxetic racquet line represents an improvement over previous models, slight but nonetheless evident. An improvement that is not so marked, but this new technology gives the frames a more refined feel and improves stability. In fact, stability is excellent and makes the frames move quickly through the air thanks to their slim and linear profile. The Gravity is a very traditional...

Head Extreme Tour Auxetic: loving it

Surgical, spin-friendly and uniquely fast, the Head Extreme Tour gets updated with Auxetic technology. s the 2024 good for a 3.5 player? right now i got the extreme mp 2022 but i guess im not hitting with enough spin to get control (shots often too far out) so im considering getting the speed mp instead
Marginal difference vs V8 and not enough improvements. I prefer old paint so will not be adding this to my bag.
Nice video!
Hahahha I love the colour combination....
Navone 🚀🚀
Nice content!
Many thanks!
good backhand
You meant my backhand o Shapo's? 😂
@@lostintennisenglish shape must have stolen yours😁
Great colour. Nicer looking than v8.
Great review, did you like it more then the vcore 100 ??
Different racquets for different needs, I prefer the Extreme tour, far more maneuverable
Nice vid. I own a Speed MP 2024. Great all-round racquet with good level of control. I also find the racquet super-comfortable and really arm friendly. I have lingering tennis elbow and this racquet instantly reduced the pain in my elbow after playing (I also own a Clash V2 and I think this frame is actually better for tennis elbow than the clash due to higher swing-weight and better stability).
I agree with you, it is a very stable and arm-friendly racquet
can you compare this to the Gravity MP Auxetic? Grazie Mille 😊
That's not that far in terms of how it feels in your hands to be honest, but the Gravity gives more spin to the ball. However, the Speed has got extra mass and stability to the shots
Hi vader - what string and tension do you use on your Speed MP?
@@afifahmayuddin7494 using hybrid Head Lynx Tour in mains and Proline Evolution in crosses. Both 1.25mm at 47lbs
I enjoy watching Jannik play. He’s also such a nice guy. I agree he will be number one by the end of the year.
Just the same as the previous version which has always been meh.
Hello great video! Im deciding between pure aero 98 snd extreme tour. Which is more comfortable on off center shots or in general. Which is more forgiving. Thanks
Definitely Extreme Tour is easier and more comfortable, a little more flexible and able to express sensations, but the stability offered by PA98 is far higher. I reckon that it needs a higher level to get the best out of it
@@lostintennisenglish if you don't mind me asking about that last part. Which racket are you referring to about "getting the best out of it". Thanks

Ezone hurt my elbow more then pure drive
Yes, the Ezone did it to me as well!
What model Ezone? 2020 version is quite plush, but muted.
@@danschannel169 The 2022
HI, I have been considering this racket for a while but not sure. I am 64 play all round game, tend to hit flattish with a little spin. Don't move as well as i did, however not bad for my age! i do compete at my club against younger and fitter players and hold my own against most but not against the best! So what's your opinion, do you think it would be too much? Currently playing with Ki5 295 looking fro a little more power! Sorry not in Italian live in UK so its not very good as i have been here ever since i was 1!
No I think it would be a good option for you, much more comfortable and enjoyable than the PK to be honest, it is perfect for flat or little spin all rounders. You might need to adjust with strings and tension a little, it is not a powerful frame. I found a good balance with Lynx 22/21kg
Nice video!!
Thanks 🙌
Didn't know you have an English channel, I've been watching your Italian videos with English subtitles. Great work, a Blade 100 v9 vs Speed MP 2024 video would be awesome.
Yes, nice to have you here as well! I did start last year to post english videos as well but found it very hard to find the time. I now decided to slow down a little on the frequency of publication in italian and try running both channels.
Yes, this comparison vidéo would be great
THANKS for your video. Sinner is the Hero in Italy 🎉🎉
I'm 64 Vcore 100 or percept 100D better for me. Thanks
It depends on how you play, the Percept is a little bit more demanding but it retains a more classic feel and more control. The Vcore 100 is great for spin and is overall a more powerful frame, even though it is still an intermediate-advanced player racquet.
i was a little bit skeptical about this raquet but I am very satisfied now after like a month playing with it. It does the job great and have a great power. Control is fine. Service is fine. I put a Babolat Max Spin string at 48 lbs for this one
I literally played with this racket an hour ago and this review is so spot on. Amazing job
To compensate for the 62 RA of this racket, is it a good idea to play with 47-46 pounds? I used 51-50 as I used in ezone 98 and it was difficult for me to accelerate the ball
Yes sure, you can definitely drop the tension and try out!
Weak review
Hello Man! Nice video! Right now im playing with a Clash 100 300 gr and i want to change to the vcore model, you think that is a wrong choice? I play tennis since a two year ago, you recommend the 100 over the 98 for a player like me ? Thanks A lot!
Can you compare ezone tourl. Also control on flat shots
i played with the vcore 100 and loved it from the first stroke. However, I decided to buy the 98 version for maneuverability. It was a mistake. I have it for 3 months now, i play well but 100 is far better. Maybe the best string for the vcore is the yonex polytour
Found the same as you. I normally prefer 95-98 sq inch racquets, but the Vcore 100 is much better than the Vcore 98 in terms of free power, spin and manoeuvrability. It gives so much for free, it’s almost like cheating!
@@jerome_morrow I will try the ezone 98 (hated the 100 version) and most probably will sell my vcore 98 for a vcore 100.
@LOST IN TENNIS [ENG] Hi would like to ask you or someone who understands, to explain one thing to me, I have been playing tennis professionally and I have been training it for two years, let's say I have been playing recreationally, I play with Babolat Pure Drive 315 g, I have been reading and watching about rackets for a long time and I'm thinking of switching to Head, because I'm missing that kind of control in the exchanges, and now I'm really undecided between Gravity pro or Speed pro,or some other racket? so I'm interested in the opinion of which racket might be better suited? please can i get an answer?
Close your eyes and borat is reviewing tennis rackets
But in my mind i see Borat in his skimpy swim suit. 😖😖😖 Now Borat is playing tennis in his swim suit...

I just made the switch from the Yonex VCORE Pro 97H to the Head Gravity Pro. Man ohhh man! it is phenomenal! Current setup - Head Gravity Pro, Solinco Confidential strung at 52lbs.
Have the same setup😂
haha same setup 22-21 kg
Sweet Review! Please make time marks next time just to differentiate the two rackets. Thanks!
🎾sei bravo vedrai che vinci un torneo uno dei tanti🥸
Biggest change is to the gravity MP lite ... try it with adding weight to your specs ...it will be your new match racket
How wuold you compare to the radical Mp? Preference?
Very similar but still different. The Ex Tour offers easier access to spin and develops a trajectory which seems to be higher at all times. I would say it's slightly easier to use than the Radical, however when playing it I feel it a little more inconsistent and producing a metallic sound on impact. The Radical offers a solid and full impact, the sound as well as the sensation is different. There is a difference in RA, the Ex Tour being a little more flexible
I like the Extreme Tour and it suits my topspin game. It’s my racket of choice. Have you tried the new Vcore 95. I tried it briefly and was interested also but maybe the Extreme Tour is better for my strokes when hitting topspin.
Nice review!!
Thanks 🙏
Hi, what is about the arm comfort?
In terms of power and easy to use and comfort is better than the Speed MP 2022?. Thanks
Definitely not, the Speed is more powerful and slightly easier to move 🤗
@@lostintennisenglish thanks!. I almost play only doubles with speed Mp. Do you think worth change for doubles?
@@jorged4763 I wouldn't say unless you are looking for more control on your shots!
Nice Video! Thanks for taking the time. You mentioned you play with the Extreme Tour, would you stay with the extreme tour or switch over to the VCore 100? I'm currently demoing the VCore 98, and it plays real nice. I haven't tried the V-Core 100 yet.
Definitely stayed with Extreme Tour, but I tell you more… i’m currently playing with Gravity Tour and I’m loving it!
@@lostintennisenglish That's hilarious, cause I've been playing with the 1st gen (green/red) Gravity Tour for the last couple of years now. I use RPM Blast at 48#. I also use Head Hawk Touch at 48# when my arm needs something softer, but it doesn't have as much power/spin as Blast. I wasn't really looking to change from the Gravity Tour, and REALLY want to test the NEW Gravity Pro (maybe a little under spec version) to compare the two. I'm looking for better touch for drop shots and more stability. My friend lent me an Extreme Tour to try... That was so easy to serve with (strung with Lynx Tour). I would need more time with that racquet to determine touch/stability. Then he lent me a VCore 98 to try. I've never been a fan of Yonex ever since the rectangular head shape. I tried the VC98, and holly cr@p... Forehand groundies were butter! And my top spin lobs were spot on! I've been looking for this for my Gravity, but it was inconsistent. Serves were consistent with the VC98 and Extreme Tour but not as hard as the Extreme Tour. I'm still trying to figure out between both racquets.
@@vickip4111 Not easy! On serve the VC98 is amazing...
@@vickip4111 Then try vc95
What do you mean by hard? Do you mean stiff or difficult to play with?
I meant both, I found it stiff as usual as a Babolat frame though not reaching the level of a Pure Drive. And also hard to play with compared to an Extreme Tour or a Blade for instance, my backhand really suffered…
Overall, a demanding frame that when you are 100% good is fine, otherwise you work double shift!
Kind of hollow feeling though?
No no, I would say very full feeling… the Extreme Tour gives me that
Interesting, a number of people didn’t like this frame with the one-hander…. I have a one-hander… testing the VCore 98 and the Wilson Shift 300.What is your racquet of choice ?ciao, John
I’ve been playing with Extreme Tour for the last 5 months, coming from Prestige and later a custom Gravity MP. I moved over as I suffered from shoulder pain but things are getting better now and will be going back to Gravity. 🤗 The Shift is nice I heard, although it can be a little stiff!
Do you think a 4.0 all court senior could thrive with the VCore 100? And have you hit with the VCore 95?
All day long Vcore 100, didn’t try the 95 and not going to, certainly too demanding! 😁
In your opinion, if you had to choose one YONEX racquet to go to battle with for DOUBLES only, which would you choose? Would that change if you were 65 years old? I would be grateful for your thoughts.
Well, depending on your level, I would probably go for Vcore Pro 300g if you are at a decent level as it is a more demanding frame, Vcore 100 or Ezone 100 if your level . Bear in mind that Ezone 100 is quite stiff...
@@lostintennisenglish I would love to see a video on this subject. You see why I asked - it is a "tricky question". I was personally confused by which racquet to chose as a 65 year old 5.0 all-court doubles specialist. It's hard for the average player to demo every racquet in the Yonex line - although you have. That is why I asked. Thank you for your input.
@@markmoore5981 Vcore Pro 300 would be cool for you! 🤗
Which is best 100 or 98?
I liked the 100 a lot, but they are both very nice, just play differently and the 98 is more demanding
is the change from Vcore 98 to 100 easy? Was thinking using the 100 as a backup when I'm feeling off for tennis
Well, I suppose it can work but keep in mind they are two different racquets - same brand different response.
