It appears as though the most controversial element in this whole video... is the track! Some very good points were made (especially with the North and South stands being especially far away). Since the track was already laid down, I can't get rid of it. We're stuck with it. So now I think the best course of action is to have adjustable stands (like Atlanta United). The bottom sections will slide out and cover the track. Might be an eyesore on TV, but I'm not trying to win any beauty contests. As long as the outside looks like a castle, I'm happy.
I was thinking you could have the track run under the stands in a tunnel so that the goals are close for the stands maybe even just one end but I also don’t know how practical it would be to have stands with a tunnel under them
To be honest I think using a German style team name would have been cool, like “FC Milwaukee 1846” or something similar. (1846 was the year it was founded) Sure, it’s a traditional name, but it’s at least somewhat unique compared to the bland MLS team names, and it’s a more subtle German influence, where Die Flussmanner might scare people away
With all that lawsuit money I'm sure Peoria could do a lot more than just getting gifted wins by the Vermillion County Bobcats ;) (From a Thunderbolts fan) lmao JK

Hampden Stadium (national stadium for Scotland) has a running track and honestly it just makes it harder to shout abuse at the players. :( Also lack of a roof gives bad accoustics and vulnerability to the rain, which is pretty much a given here.
So Danny, as a German, I have to say: Really nice idea. The city, the jersey, the badge, the stadium. Everything fine. You actually convinced me on the track around the field. But you’ll never convince me the half-&-half jersey style isn’t the worst design ever. It looks like they ran out of the one color and had to finish with the other. Oh well…at least your kits don’t have “Jordan” written all over them. (But seriously, great video, this was fun)
Wayne: So, do you come to Milwaukee often? Alice Cooper: Well, I'm a regular visitor here, but Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers were coming here as early as the late 1600s to trade with the Native Americans. Pete: In fact, isn't "Milwaukee" an Indian name? Alice Cooper: Yes, Pete, it is. Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land." Wayne: I was not aware of that.
I would buy season tickets. But here's my argument. Change the name to The Cheesemongers - die Käser. It's Clean, it's more Wisconsin. Same colors, same crest, but make it a cheese wheel.
Couple of things. First, love the video! Really fun idea and application! Second, for the stadium, you can get funding from the city. This happens all the time in the NFL, and I’d assume in MLS as well, Third, far stands is less than ideal for fans. One of the best parts of the sport is the intimacy. Far fans can really hurt a fan base (ex West Ham) Fourth, definitely try and get an affiliate with Bayern!
love the idea, hopefully they can get for fans to show up than what the voyageurs got. They already host the Wisconsin state soccer at Uhlein Field in Milwaukee so im sure moving it to a bigger and better stadium would work better. plus if UW-Milwaukee and Marquette Men's soccer can draw 5,000 fans for soccer. I'm sure they can get a decent showing for an USL Championship or MLS side.
I would just buy the Milwaukee Torrent who play in the NPSL, and build from there. I popped when you said Milwaukee because I was like “hey, Milwaukee has a lot of soccer history”
Love the idea, you lost me with the track though. In terms of unique Euro names, I'd like to see a Sheffield inspired name. Imagine Edmontom Wednesday or Winnipeg Saturday as expansion sides.
Cool , congrats for your new MLS club! Would it cost more if you first buy an existing club (let’s say Houston Dynamo) and move it to another city (then rest of the plan)?

Great video. Also, would have prefered you to pick Honolulu or Detroit because they are also big cities.
Detroit is practically a ghost town now. After Ford, Stellanta, and GM go belly up it won't even be a "wide place in the road".
Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."
Wayne: I was not aware of that.
😂😂😂😂😂
I would buy season tickets. But here's my argument. Change the name to The Cheesemongers - die Käser. It's Clean, it's more Wisconsin. Same colors, same crest, but make it a cheese wheel.
Couple of things.
First, love the video! Really fun idea and application!
Second, for the stadium, you can get funding from the city. This happens all the time in the NFL, and I’d assume in MLS as well,
Third, far stands is less than ideal for fans. One of the best parts of the sport is the intimacy. Far fans can really hurt a fan base (ex West Ham)
Fourth, definitely try and get an affiliate with Bayern!
Nice moustache
Thanks. I hate it lol Can we get this as an ongoing series?
That Lie In The Beginning Got Me No Lie
any updates on sacramento republic fc
love the idea, hopefully they can get for fans to show up than what the voyageurs got.
Nice pfp
We need more of these kinds of videos
I would just buy the Milwaukee Torrent who play in the NPSL, and build from there. I popped when you said Milwaukee because I was like “hey, Milwaukee has a lot of soccer history”
I’ve received an email like he described in the beginning lol
Also shoutout Alfie from HITC Sevens! 💪🏽
It would probably end up being "Milwaukee FC" with the colors being white and eggshell
Thank you for bringing a team to Milwaukee. I don't like the name but it's still cool to have an entire video about us lol
Defend the river is great but I believe the battle expression is “Hold the river”
Love the idea, you lost me with the track though. In terms of unique Euro names, I'd like to see a Sheffield inspired name. Imagine Edmontom Wednesday or Winnipeg Saturday as expansion sides.
I like the name; However if for some reason the Rivermen name wasn’t allowed, name could be 3 Rivers FC and Drei Flüsse on the back of the collar.
Oooo I like that too!
As a Pittsburgher, 3 Rivers FC as a name for a team in Milwaukee makes me nauseous lol
Can't believe I'm just seeing this now! Another thing to consider is the new TV rights deal in 2023- going to bring in significantly more $ per club
Congrats on becoming a millionaire!
*billionnaire
What about your NWSL team?
Cool , congrats for your new MLS club!
Would it cost more if you first buy an existing club (let’s say Houston Dynamo) and move it to another city (then rest of the plan)?
Danny turning into the old Rowdies badge?
You gained a new follower because of this video. What are your thoughts about the announcement of a new stadium to house a USL team in Milwaukee.
"I don't like the European city+fc name,I want sth american"
Proceeds to name the team in German
Don Quixote talking MLS. Priceless.
Great Video!!!
I wanna see you get a Flussmanner shirt on your wall so bad now lol
This is one of your classics!
Her is an idea matches to look for next season in mls teams, usl, other American teams clashes and us open intera-league matches.
Brown and gold is nice, reminds me of the San Diego padres
Next video idea: the success of soccer in Canada, men’s and women’s national teams
You have the idea.. do FIFA career mode (Create a Club) would be fun to watch
Now we need a roster build.
I have to come back to this video after it was announced the USL will be giving an expansion team in Milwaukee for the Championship
Piss and Po FC 😂 Good video tho
The stadium should been boat shaped for the rivermen.
Always wanted a MLS club in Milwaukee i wonder if they will ever actually come here
