- so .... this one is the 9th MV I've made of San Guo 2010 already. It has been very fun and enjoyable. I tried a new coloring style this time and am prettty satisfied with the result.
This MV is the last one I made at the end of this summer, can be considered a closure before school starts ^^ ! It's just a coincidence that this one is a Zhuge Liang - Lu Yi MV.
I do like the 1994's Zhuge Liang a lot, but Lu Yi's new Zhuge Liang is my favourite and I can say now that he is also for me the best and most complete Zhuge so far.
Well, just, in fact, new Cao Cao and new Liu Bei are also the best ^^'''''''''''''' !
I don't know if there are any Lu Yi's fans out there, but I just wanted to share some fun with them by making and posting MV of his series. He really is lovely

I first saw Lu Yi this week in the series "Just to See You." I thought he was a very good actor. I really enjoyed the series especially Lu Yi and his female star. They were so good together. She was beautiful and he was quite manly and handsome.
@StaR3694 : I had a lot of fun making this video. Choosing what are his best shots and angles was extremely hard on me. He looks so good in the whole San Guo. I had another project for his new series "Yan Hu", but I just don't have any time to do it T_________________T

As for the video itself:
While I agree that Lu Yi's portrayal of Zhuge Liang is indeed touching and easy to empathize with (and I am personally a fan), I felt that this MV could have been more coherent. You selected a lot of shots in which Zhuge Liang happened to look cool, but there was very little sense of a unified story or theme that could have been told through them, and as such it felt more like a scrapbook of shots than a properly moving montage.
@kanraga Red Cliffs has nicer cinematographic shots, that's why I used them ^^, coz I wanted to have, like you said, a rather "cool" MV for Lu Yi. I have not used other movies until before this MV. But I don't think Red Cliffs have anything more symbolist like you said. Red Cliffs was made as a blocbuster and did not , at all, have the deepness that San Guo 2010 has. And you know, not only Red Cliffs, In this MV, there are shots from Heros and Flying Daggers too ^^ ! Thanks for your comments

@kanraga ^____^ I have not problem with the fact that you expected something more touching. I just want to say MVs cannot be as touching, nor complete, as to watch the whole series anyway ^^. MVs are just a way to express what kind of feelings the maker had for him the moment the MVs is created. There is no way an MV with limited capacity can describe perfectly the character. And of course, why do you think I would feel discouraged ^^ ? Thanks for passing by.

Maybe scrapbook was the effect you were going for, in which case feel free to ignore this. I simply wish there had been more to this MV than simply a good song and a selection of shots - chosen right, it's possible to tell a very moving story about the life and growth of Lu Yi's Zhuge Liang, and you did seem to have some parallels between his younger self and older selves in there. It's too bad it wasn't enough, I guess.
Don't let this be discouraging, though - keep working at it!

@kanraga : ah, may I ask, why do you think we should mention Red Cliff ? I mean, don't you think people will surely know there are Red Cliff, Heroes, and Flying Dagger's shots here ? I just thought people would naturally recognise all of them. Unless there is a copyright or credit problem, I don't realy understand why you would want to specifically mention Red Cliff ! ^__^

There were quite a few spliced shots from John Woo's Red Cliff movie in there. I'm not against this - it makes things more cinematic, since Three Kingdoms doesn't have nearly as much attempted symbolism as Red Cliffs does - but it's something I thought deserves mention.
I learn histories of each country I am one step closer in making more friends add this in your books folks lol
