This is brilliant , love the advice about the Prescrew !!! Love watching your videos for installation !! Thank you for your time and dedication .
Good tip with the pre screw...
But maybe don't use your impact.
Great job, no old man chatter:)) lol
haha :)
I’m a 45 yr Electrician. IBEW Local 640. I have 23 yrs commercial, 7 Industrial,15 Residential:)))))
sheesh 🫡
must be rich!
Puttin in heater in my trailer
nice!
What about the thermostat genius
I have king in my master bedroom and cadet throughout the house. The king is so much louder. I can’t tell if that’s how it normally operates or it’s just too old. Do you have any experience with the two?
not much or none that comes to mind, sorry :(
@@DailyElectrician gotcha. It’s all good.
I’ve saw one at someone else’s house and it’s pretty loud and they just built it in the basement plus the basement has just been remodeled the whole thing so I think the king heater is normally pretty loud
Can you confirm that is the correct orientation of the face plate, where the smaller of the two vent openings is at the bottom ... so that the vents aim down to the room, meaning the air is blown downward into the room?
you can install it anyway you want, but ive never seen them with the vents facing up
@@DailyElectrician ok, just dont know which is better.. vents up or down... but seems other videos shows the vents aim down to blow air down (instead of blowing air up into the room)..
Yeah I've always pointed them down, was this video not down?
Yes, it's down. I was just double-checking. All good.
☺️
Do you know if wall heaters vent out? I have a tall one inside my apartment and wondering if it could be use to vent out my portable A/C.
they dont
@@DailyElectrician Thanks, looks like I'll stay with window hose
no problem
Thanks for the review
Glad it was helpful :)
Is this something I can do on my own, no electrical experience!!
would not recommend
@@DailyElectrician my kid put paper in the heater vent and it caught fire. I immediately turned it off. Can I just buy a new one and replace it? The electrician is charging $150 just to come take a look. The entire device is like $200. No need for work on the wall or the housing in my case since it’s a unit replacement.
i mean its definitly do-able but do it at your own risk. buy the same replacement etc.
I got one that was slightly different since it is a 240 volt. It did not come with white and black wires but 2 black wires. How do you know which one to hook up to the white and black coming from the wall? I have it hooked up currently and it works but I’m worried that I’ve done something wrong.
i would have to see it, and i dont want to give you incorrect advice so i wont say anything.
@@DailyElectrician Thanks for the reply mate! I got it all sorted out.
anytime ❤️ glad you got it taken care of :)
