P17 is much more potent. Also, it features tailcap switches operation, and that is indeed a very important purchase reason over the Emisar, at least for me. I'd rather spend double the money on a flashlight that really ticks all the boxes (or at least nearly all of them) than on one that has nothing more to offer than just a lot of lumen for a cheap price.
