A quite GTR! Sound Deadening a R33 GTR tutorial. Lamby_Drives

Hello!
Join me in improving the sound proofing in my R33 GTR V-Spec. While there isn't really anything wrong with the sound proofing in this car, I wanted to improve it and maybe give it a more luxury feel to the car. Plus next year I will probably being using it a lot more, so it will be nice to have a little more comfort.

Might as well stick a foam speakerring on your doorspeaker, so you have the benefit of better sound quality while you are at it.
Later nissans had replace the plastic foil with some foam stuff, might be another idea.
Or if you really wanted to have a go: use the cellfoam as a layer instead of the foil.
Keep up the good work. I’ve done this for years on all my cars, and it always helps.
Now I only need to find out how to dampen the road noise / engine noise.

Good idea on the foam for speakers! I hadn't thought of that, but will definitely look into it.
