      If it's windy it could be even more spectacular. Just don't got too close to the edge. It's a long way down !

    Doolin is where my family originated from... And O'Brien's tower was built by my ancestor ...I hope to someday soon...walk in the foot steps of those of my family who came before me

      It's an amazing place. To reach the Cliffs you must cross the Burren. It's Limestone rock which retains the heat during winter. The people who live near the Burren kept their cattle there during the harsh - and it was harsh,winters. It's the last stop between Ireland and America with only the Atlantic Ocean in between - amazing what people observe and act upon.

    Hey thee, you think that is this walk safe for a young woman traveling solo? thanks

    • @cealtra3270
      @cealtra3270  7 років тому

      It is safe, as long as you tell someone when you're going. You will meet lots of people doing the walk too. As the walkway is unguarded cliffside be careful. Wear good walking shoes or boots. Bring a phone and camera too as there are many photo opportunities. Common sense will keep you safe. Enjoy!

      People don't travel to Ireland for a suntan and I can't guarantee sun in May. I can say that if you're prepared for the rain, sun, wind, heat or cold you'll be fine. Enjoy the trip. Check out the Ring of Lough Derg in one of my other videos. It's a special part of Co. Clare too.

    Juan it's not that difficult at all. There are a couple of very short sharp climbs but most of the walk is a very gradual rise from sea level to 750ft. You can do it !

    Hi April. The part I've shown you in the video is about 1 &1/2 Hours. The full walk will take about 4 hours, if like me you stop to take photos and videos constantly. Enjoy it !
