I swear anyone can do the job that these two do. All they do is get on and talk football all day. @jhoe I don’t know you or @cortmajor and us 3 could get together and in a week make this segment and make it better. 😂
Oh God if your Ben Johnson. You do not want to be the New York Jets head coach. You would rather stay offensive coordinator for Detroit and have a stable quarterback in Jared Goff to call play for.
Flores: Ben Johnson turned down the commanders and the Seahawks job last year. *Literally 10 seconds later The other guy: I can't think of the last time an NFL coach turned down a HC job. It just doesn't happen. 😑
I just want to see Belichick coaching Rodgers.. that would be epic. We need a special Hard Knocks to see that locker room. It would be hilarious.. Bill would try to strangle him like Homer and Bart
They have Travis. Won his last 17 games in college. No other player in this past draft can say that. He beat Jaden Daniels and his two 1st round pick WR's both times they played. He beat the #4 overall pick last year and his 1st round WR this year. All he had was a 2nd round WR for one year, and nothing else but 6th rounders or later. He beat what is very likely another 1st round QB is this upcoming draft in Dillon Gabriel in a shoot out WITHOUT, that 2nd Rd WR. Look at Florida State since he got injured. They're a shell of the team they were with him. When a team goes undefeated and wins a power 5 conference and they are not allowed in the college playoffs because he's not going to play, they knew what kind of difference he made. He had an OL that consisted of 5 guards, not a single player good enough to play tackle on other teams. They were a good run blocking unit, but constantly missed pass blocks. Yet, he could not be sacked. He's every bit as good as Lamar at escaping, but with much better passing accuracy. In fact, Louiville recruited him to take over for Lamar when he left for the NFL, but the coaches changed there and he transfered to FSU.
Seriously doubt they will ask Ben Johnson for an interview after the way he stood up the Commanders, (which i still think that Lions HC Dan Campbell had something to do with.) The Jets are going to need to clean house completely if they miss the playoffs again. Just simply hiring another head coach won't fix what's going on right now.
…and sometimes, the only way to fix this kind of problem is for the owner to sell the the team and move on! Let’s face it, Rogers isn’t Mahomes, or any of the other QB’s with that kind of mobility and speed.
Both Ben Johnson and Bobby Slowik will take the job because the defense is already there and they can fix the offense. But they'll do it under one condition -- they're the boss. They'll get rid of Rodgers and start Travis right away. If the owner doesn't like it, they won't go there.
Brian Flores was 24-25 as a head coach. Not exactly a record that would have teams lining up, as we've seen. He had a reputation of being arrogance and not approachable as a head coach. It's tolerable as an assistant as long as you're winning. Sometimes, pulling out the race card while being bad at your job has consequences. It would in most any industry, the NFL is not unique.
I dont think the Jets job is that bad. Salah got more than three seasons there witout winning which is a lot for a dysfunctional organization. Futhermore the Aaron Rodgers-experiment could be over be next year and you could get to pick your own QB
Coaches rarely get more than one shot. If you’re offered one with top defence and Aaron Rodgers - who will take the blame if offense is crap now - then you take it. They’ll probably need to draft a new QB now anyway (hilariously)
The name nobody is saying for this job is Pete Carroll. Offensive minded, Rodgers might not be there next year, he can bring in a guy at QB look at Geno. I know he’s old but it might be a Bill Parcells situation. I’ll coach here two years retire and I will have a guy in place. Only thing about that last thing is they don’t want to be Bill Belichicked again by the man they sat in place don’t take the job.
i don't hate this idea .. he's gonna bounce around CFB unless someone gives him a bag to join the NFL and NYJ is the perfect place for his big personality.
Johnson is never gonna happen. He turned down better situations last year, and he’s said it would take $15m/ to get him out of Detroit. Aaron Glenn I could maybe see though because of his history with the Jets.
@@jhoe164 Not exactly. Johnson was not offered the Wash job. He withdrew and got pissed when he heard he was not the front runner after a crappy first interview. This has been validated by local DC media who don't work with the team.
Nobody will want to go coach the Jets as long as Rodgers is there.
2:02 how is your job to talk football and you dont remember ben johnson turning down head coach opportunities two years in a row lmao
He doesn’t like Detroit and sells them short at every opportunity. Inevitably when the Vikings implode he will get even angrier at Detroit.
I swear anyone can do the job that these two do. All they do is get on and talk football all day.

I'm like this is why his show was cancelled. Dumb comments. The dude just gave you an example and you follow up with that dumb argument smh
Johnson was not offered the Wash job. He withdrew and got pissed when he heard he was not the front runner after a crappy first interview.
He also brings up an example of a coach turning down a job himself
Johnson did it 2 years in a row. He might make a good college coach, but i don't see him being a great NFL head coach.
I just want to see Belichick coaching Rodgers.. that would be epic. We need a special Hard Knocks to see that locker room. It would be hilarious.. Bill would try to strangle him like Homer and Bart
Ben Johnson would stay with the Lions for another 10 years before taking the Jets HC job.
Nobody wants the NY Jets HC job. They don't have a good young QB on the way
McDaniels and Flores want it

If we picking top 5 they would.. I would love Ben Johnson..
They have jordan Travis
That’s why you ask for 10 years guaranteed
As a Bills fan I'm hoping after we fire out coached McDermott we back the brinks truck up to Ben Johnson's house!
Agree, that’s where BJ should go if Derm is fired

Belichick would be a perfect fit
You media guys have to stop getting Jets coaches fired and players not wanting to play here 🤨🤬🤣
Interesting use of the word "permanent" with regard to the Jets
Munkin is not a west coast guy! It has to be a west coast guy with Rodgers at QB.
Parcells turned the jets and made them winners. They need to find someone good like him and also let him take complete charge
Ben Johnson didn't turn down the commanders and seahawks just to go to the dysfunction of Aaron Rodgers and the jets
Both Ben Johnson and Bobby Slowik will take the job because the defense is already there and they can fix the offense. But they'll do it under one condition -- they're the boss. They'll get rid of Rodgers and start Travis right away. If the owner doesn't like it, they won't go there.
Vikes please pay Brian Flores to stay and be the Vikings Defensive coordinator. He and his ability is in the perfect place for him.

Hire vrabel or flores as HC and bring john Gruden to run the team as GM
Kilff kingsbury would be nice
No way Johnson accepts the jets job.
Vrabel and Aaron Rodgers would never get along 😂
Nobody with any options at all is gonna deal with coaching only with Aaron Rodger’s permission
Coaches rarely get more than one shot. If you’re offered one with top defence and Aaron Rodgers - who will take the blame if offense is crap now - then you take it. They’ll probably need to draft a new QB now anyway (hilariously)
It doesn’t mean it’s not a dysfunctional situation - but you don’t get to pick your opportunities much.
I think Vrabel could tame Rodgers plus be good for the Jets, seems like a no-brainer to me if the Jets have any sense....oh wait :)
The name nobody is saying for this job is Pete Carroll. Offensive minded, Rodgers might not be there next year, he can bring in a guy at QB look at Geno. Rodgers is just another reason NOT to take Jets.
Ben Jones Johnson ain't going anywhere!
Please, don't accept the offer Johnson or Glenn if NY comes knocking, you don't deserve that
Primetime in New York: Woody hires Deion Sanders. He wants a splash hire.
i don't hate this idea .. he's gonna bounce around CFB unless someone gives him a bag to join the NFL and NYJ is the perfect place for his big personality.
Whom ever the next coach is. To deal with that owner. Lots of money 💰 is gonna have to be spent.
7:25 if I’m an offensive coach why would I want to be under Aaron Rodgers’s thumb. Screw that he taking shots at me if
lol Ben Johnson is not taking that job. He can choose and this ain’t it
It is gonna be Aaron Glenn
Leave Todd monkin alone bra lmao. Y’all not gonna stop until the ravens have nothing 😂
Nick Sirianni +500
Gruden! Case closed!!!
Johnson is never gonna happen. He turned down better situations last year, and he’s said it would take $15m/ to get him out of Detroit. Aaron Glenn I could maybe see though because of his history with the Jets.
Gruden !
🤣🤣 who the eff' would ever want to be the coach of the Jets whilst Woody Woodpeckerhead is the owner ? I reckon Rich Kotite would be interested 🤣🤣
Why would you go there?
Bill Belichick
I bet Ben Johnson regrets not taking the Commanders job.
Why would he lmao
he wanted to stay in detroit. it had nothing to do with washington im sure he doesn't even think about it he just wanted to keep his old job bro
Patriots
No he doesn't, he's got a chance to win a Superbowl bud.
