They cut the show at the point in manga where it started to get very dark and stray from what the early manga and anime portrayed. They also stopped because the show didn't make enough money in Japan. Personally, I like the darker part and it stopped being so stupid and silly since it showed that Ikki and his friends had matured. I await the invention of A-TS. So my phrase for all of you Air Gear fans like me. What are you still doing down here? The sky is up there!

I don't get what you're talking about, but Air Gear in the manga is and will always be about ATs, it just gotten more mystical than it already is, but the manga is still continuing which automatically makes it better than the anime.

@MaleficDan Between 20.000-100.000, as they can run as fast as cars, can practically go over buildings, fly, and well....be used as weapons, they'd pretty much completely replace your everyday transport :p thats excluding the production costs of such a super powerful engine in a small item like roller skates :p

I have read most of the manga and Light Up the Sky is actually a pretty good song for the story overall.

actually hes right. Ikki made his own road later in the series and became the "storm king" but there are WAY more than just 8 roads.
