very good technique and saves lot of time when compared to conventional sulfur capping method. does this procedure comply with any standard specification? if yes kindly let us know the standard.
Basically there two procedures: 1. Only three materials you could use in ASTM C617: sulfur , cement ,Gypsum 2. The strength of capping materials should be higher than your concrete specimens. Thanks!
For Capping application, it's from 280 to 630 kgf/cm2, You could also refer our Cubic compression strength test: ua-cam.com/video/VULySRrz0QA/v-deo.html. If you have another question please feel free to contact with us. Thanks!
I thought proper gypsum mixing occurred when the gypsum is added to the water, not the other way around? And with an electric mixer. Otherwise, nice caps!
gypsum is added with water or water added with gypsum, It's the same! CAPSTONE is not just gypsum. I provide extremely high strength and other advantages: www.twcapstone.com/en/why-gypsum-capping/#Compressive%20test%20value%20comparision
Hi Jacky, as they are lots of types of gypsums, can you please tell me what sort of gypsum you have used. Many thanks
It looks so easy! This gypsum capping method make the compressive strength test easier.
Yes!! I think this will be the best choice for the concrete test in the future.
You are right. It's amazing for this super high strength gypsum

We follow ASTM C617 "Capping Cylindrical Concrete Specimens" - 6.2.3 Capping with High-Strength Gypsum Paste. -
this is absolutely better than sulphur capping !
Good video...how to cap perforated brick for compressive strength?
perforated brick? Sorry~I never cap perforated brick for compressive strength.
Amazing product~~~ make the test became easier
How we can cap hollow blocks?
In my opinion, we should mix CAPSTONE with lower water to cap hollow blocks. Its viscosity become higher.
is there any procedures of ASTM C617

thank you so much
do u have also a procedure of astm standard for sieve of cement ?thaank you for the reply
best practice provide perfect result
Thanks for your commend!
Can you please tell me the specifications for the type of glass to be used and the thickness.
+Krishna Gadde Normal glass is ok, the thickness of glasses should > 6 mm, We always will provide all capping device for our customers. Thanks!
The technicians appear to be rocking the glass plate in contradiction to capping methods described by astm c617.
how to do capping on concrete paver? it has some chamfer on top surface..
I can't get your question~Could you please send more information or picture to my email? Jacky.F@twcapstone.com
Dear Friends. How is the gypsum's compressive strength? Thank you very much.

Thanks. I'd found the ansew on your web.
Welcome!
how the fuck did I end up here
