This is a great performative exploration of Imitor Versio, made really interesting with brief but informative references to your other modular delays. What's really compelling about your video's is that they make me feel like I am immersed in a captivating sonic installation. As somebody who makes art installations as a profession I really appreciate not just the quality and aesthetics but the shrewd observations in your narrative.
I agree it would have been a great feature, but the design of the DV only provides an USB on the back. However, these firmwares are clearly designed for a more permanent application because we now had two firmware releases and they both are pretty amazing. I would prefer a quantum discount on the DV with a faceplate subscription.... I bet there will be a case with only 'versio's one day.
It would be nice but unfortunately, the back end we use (the Daisy Seed) does not allow that. The USB is on the daughterboard, and we can't extend to the panel.
@@saren6538 lol, feel ya!^^ wasnt so excited when I first testet it, but the more I played with it, the better it got. now its my favorite module this year.
@@saren6538 I can understand that the DV is not for everyone, it's more like an Erbe-Verb instead of a Z-DSP. It all comes down to personal taste and the music you love most.
Yes, it's a special guest in my set (have to return it soon to its original owner) but it's so convenient to add four LPG's to the set because some of these iteritas modules need VCA's and some don't. And I wanted to sum everything to mono to showcase the awesome stereo conversion IV and DV can offer. Indeed it's a beast, and it's cool to have pure analog in the patch. These LPG slams sound insane.
I am a little confused, why you want to update your reverb Desmodus Versio to the delay Imitor Versio. Of course, you can save some money avoiding to buy another module. Is the firmware easy reversible? BTW great videos thank you!
Yes it takes just a few seconds to install new firmware. Noise Engineering has information about the process on their website. So you can just try the firmware and revert if you don't like it.
There's a logical reason for that.... I always use sharpening on the final video. Next time I'll try to do titles on the final video so they remain as they are (aliased).

Wow, comments like this make my day - and make me want to make more videos! If you ever need some custom music for your work let me know!
Just got my first Versio, Desmodus. These videos are awesome!!!
Wow that was an epic performance -- if they're really planning 26 firmwares I may need to pick up a second DV myself. Loving my DV.
Like watching a move, incredible work and awesome module🙌🏻
Crazy stuff. I have 2 of these in my rack but I’ve decided to get one more. reverb, delay and the granular one. Perfecto!!!
Totally agree! I won't be surprised getting a fifth one this year...
an usb on the front pannel of the N.E. or cards like z dsp would be awesome on this module to load the different firmwares

you can run a usb cable from the back out somewhere. I have one for arbhar too with usb to sd card adapter cable
@@daveg.9720 can you confirm that you can update this way? i thought the module had to be unplugged
@@damianpinto3497 yes the button presses make the need to take the module out unfortunately
Dope! One more reason why the Desmodus Versio is such a great module!
sold mine ..still not sure why.. i was probably the first in the world to sell it second hand lol

EPIC!
Your font somehow always looks like as if it was not anti-aliased
