Hi Kat. New Subscriber. From Chicagoland Area. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I’ve had the candy cane forms for 2 years now. Finally I am motivated to start creating with them. Love the way you & the hubby work together to bring us these video tutorials. My hubby is always interested & involved in my creations & it’s nice to see other couples “like us” 💞. Have a great week!
I missed watching your live show on Facebook and I'm happy I came across your wreath when I was doing a search. You and your husband seem like lovely people the kind of people you'd like for your neighbors. I have subscribed to your Channel and I'm looking forward to more of your tutorials your wreaths candy cane forms are gorgeous. Pat💝💖💞
Patricia, what a lovely comment and we love what we do together. I can say I am blessed to have a husband who is willing to help out so I can make the wreath while he fields all those great questions.
Hi Kat you’re doing great on this candy cane. I bought the wired cane, and so glad you are making one. It’s beautiful and it goes fast with your method. I really enjoyed watching you make this creation and hope I can do as well as you. Great the beads on that pipe cleaners. Thanks for telling us about the beads at Hobby Lobby. They really add to the beauty of the candy cane. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍❤️❤️🎅🏼🎄🌲❄️
Can you explain the deco tubing again? I would love to make one but didn’t quite understand it. Thank you. I love to watch your tutorials. I learn so much
Thanks so much MichelleLeeAngle, come join me for a LIVE at 5pm Pacific, 7pm Central or 8pm Eastern at Facebook.com/KatsCreations777 every Friday night.
I hope you used the portion of pipe cleaners that you tossed. It seams that it may have taken only 1/2🤷🏾♀️. The video was shared to me and I love the finished product.😍
They really aren't half, more like 1/4 inch and I have so many already saved and honestly never use them. They are simply too small to reuse, Joy! Thanks for watching and hope you'll subscribe.
Grateful to have come across this I've been trying to figure out how to get my mesh to not fray with out the idea of taking a lighter to it. I had only done floral wreaths prior so the mesh is new to me. I had friends say they wanted to buy what I posted but reasonably expressed that I need to tweak some techniques so for now they are mine or they would just be gifts.
Happy Thanksgiving can you tell me how many mesh pieces we will need all together. I'm very new to this and think these are so pretty. Thank you for your time.
Kat, I enjoy your tutorials! Especially your husband reading comments. Some couples do lives together & the husband is so annoying. Tries to be a comedian & singer. So annoying, I am watching tutorials for the designer' talents & to learn, not for the husband annoying antics!! Once again, thanks for your tutorials! Enjoy your husband reading comments & questions. Very professionally done, thank you!
I wish you had shown a close up and do a few of how you put the pipe cleaners on, especially since it's different up top. I couldn't follow. I didn't see the live showing to ask a question.
Camile, thanks for joining in and yes I will make another video trying to teach the placement of the pipecleaners. Just remember you're going to wire the two inner rails together at the bottom and top of the beginning of each rail. Then add two directly across from one another, wiring together the two outer rails. Then back to the two inner ones and keep the pattern going. The LIVE is from Facebook and you can join us each Friday night at 5pm Pacific Time, 7pm Central or 8pm Eastern Time.
Lol I may be dense, but I had to watch and listen to the placement of the pipe cleaners several times to get the placement. It’s not as easy as you think when you’re trying to follow on uTube. I think I’ve got it now!
Pati, the great thing is that on most of my wreaths the placement will all be the same when using a 14-inch Dollar Tree wreath frame. Glad you go it figured out.
I know this was from last year, How would the one that you roll up and put 3 togethet look? Have you ever done with that? Would you use the 5 1/2 inch or longer one?
I tried to give one as a gift to a friend and she got mad and said I should ask before making one for her as it may not match her decor. That was very hurtful as it was a gift. I was trying to be nice.😢😢
Oh Ellie, how heartbreaking! I can't imagine how the must have made you feel. I guess anyone would feel that way if the response to our gift matched hers.
Thanks so much Sharron! Love having you join us. If you ever want to watch us LIVE on Friday nights at 5pm Pacific, 7pm Central or 8pm Eastern, go to Facebook.com/KatsCreations777

When putting on pipe cleaners did you put a spot of glue mine are all over the place sliding? Or for outside did you twist around the outer rail and second rail? Section 5 and 6 confusing.

I love this candy cane wreath. Very pretty. One thing and i don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but, Your husband's constant chatter, and you correcting him just is so irritating to me. I love watching you when you are alone I hope this is accepted as a good feedback, cause like I said I love watching and learning from you/
Patti, absolutely any feedback is great. I know he is simply trying to help people on the Facebook LIVE, responding to all their comments and questions, which I don't see.
I apologize Barbara, this tutorial was from 5 years ago and I will be updating this one to have chapter segments you can simply go to which section of the tutorial you want to see.
Thank you love it

Love that mesh!!
Thank you so much Earthgal!
Happy Thanksgiving can you tell me how many mesh pieces we will need all together. I'm very new to this and think these are so pretty.
Thank you for your time.
It all depends on how thick your deco mesh is. I average about 6-7 per section. You may need more depending on how well its covering.
I am using the very same mesh you are and I appreciate your response
@@karenlouder2665 you will love the results.
Hi Joy, from North Carolina. Been waiting to see the candy cane wreath

Love your videos! So how many 15" pieces did you cut? Or how many ties do you have total?
There are 32 pieces.
Hello I love the things you make . I'm making candy wreaths to give I'm from Billerica 'Massachusetts.
Hi kat. In section 5-7 how many pipe cleaners do you have placed there?
5 and 6 have 6 each and section 7 has 3

My candy cane wreath only have 4 sections
I know Lolitia, Dollar Tree made them so much smaller. ;(
Do you have a tutorial for 12" candy cane frame please? TIA
I don't at this time. I am still looking for it.
Thanks, think l have the format for an 8” wreath. Have been watching other video’s what is your Fb site please? ☺️

Hi Kat, do you think I could use 10inch mesh for this project? I ordered the wrong size.
You can but I would do the Bubble technique otherwise you'll have a very full candy cane, Cynthia
If your doing red and white do you just alternate the colors per section?
