- After buying a house in La Palma California, Christina and Tarek are met with tonnes of hair left from the 35 cats the previous owner had but their biggest problem is to decide whether they should pay the fines to add an extra bedroom.

I take it that this has been filmed a few years ago. It is still a lovely house. I wish yhey would spend more time showing the results. We go through the demo and the rebuild for 85% of the video and a few seconds on the outcome. We did not even see any of the bedrooms or bathrooms. 😯☹

That is my biggest pet peeve in every single home makeover show. We didn't even get to see the backyard or half of the rooms here. 🙄

It's a condensed episode. Usually they're twice as long.

The beams were really nice it said that they took it down and trimmed it into the sterile environment they gave it some really nice character to the home they could have painted their infamous black. Laminate fireplace? Prefab cabins? Cheap quality material,

The materialism is so sad and wasteful. It's not just and American thing but feels much more prevalent there...that and waste. That shipping container of rubbish is in landfill adding to pollution.
