இந்த பழமையான குகைக்கோயில் சுமார் 2000 ஆண்டுகள் பழமையானது என்றும், குகைக்குள் பூங்கோல் தாயார் (அரங்கநாயகி ) என்ற சுயம்பு வடிவ அம்மன் சிலை உள்ளது.இங்கே பழங்கால குகைஓவியம் காணப்படுகிறது. 3 ஆயிரம் ஆண்டிற்கு முன் வரையப்பட்ட இந்த ஓவியத்தில் பல்வேறு தகவல் அறியப்படுகிறது.இந்த ஓவியம் வரைய வெண்மையான திரவம் பயன்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். இந்த திரவத்தின் விவரம் அறியப்படவில்லை.
இந்த கோவிலின் வளிமண்டலம் மிகவும் இனிமையானது மற்றும் மலை உச்சியில் இருந்து விழும் நீர் இந்த கோவிலின் படிகள் வழியாக வருகிறது. எனவே பல சிறிய நீர்வீழ்ச்சி இடங்களுடன் நமது சிறிய மலையேற்றத்தை அனுபவிக்க முடியும். உங்கள் நண்பர்கள் மற்றும் குடும்பத்தினருடன் ஒரு நாள் பயணத்திற்கு இது சரியான இடம்.

This ancient cave temple Hidden Gem Temple is said to be nearly 2000 years old, and an Amman statue named poongoli Amman (aranganayagi thayar cave temple) inside the cave. Ancient cave arts found ion the top of the rocks . there are only 2 cave arts temples in coimbatore, this is one among them. the other one is pathimalai murugan temple.
The atmosphere of this temple is very pleasant and the water which falls from the top of the mountain comes along the the steps of this temple. So we can enjoy our small trek with lots of small waterfall spots.
There is a small waterfall near this temple at the top, where we can take a small bath and spend our time peacefully.
