Hey I don't know if you will see this but can you please make a great sword guard like how to do like bridge combos and the greatsword loop combo like the infinite one because I've been playing greatsword ever since jaeyun was released in season 2 and honestly I mean I'm pretty good and decent with the weapon but it's like I can never for the life of me get the sidelite neutral light into chase Dodge satellite neutral light finisher down for the life of me is it every time I do the two piece and try to chase right after I always end up going too far past my opponent on the other side it's like I've been dying to get good with the weapon like way better than I am now for the longest time love the video please help.
I can never get a grip on gsword neutral, I usually get lucky and they never dodge on low gold so I do strings, up until mid gold and suddenly everybody a plat and has perfect spacing
I was in training mode, and I realized that you can use that tech to: when you fall off the platform using a ground attack, you can cancel the recovery time using it in the same way and you can launch the continuous attack faster
Reverse ground neutral starter - right after you dash the directions you have to press are ↖️ or ⬅️+⬆️ attack if your moving to the right and opposite if your moving to the left.

I’ve been maining magyar since April, and there hasn’t been a good gs guide that I could’ve learned the weapon off of post nerf. If there was they just taught dash cancelling tech which everyone already knows anyway Not one guide teaches how to play neutral, or how to use the aerial kit properly… it’s aids If u chose to main the weapon post jan nerf you were learning from scratch, its dumb asf I’ve done the slight tech accidentally quite a few times. The nlight tech tho I’m really looking forward to using

Also, we need a new greatsword legend, I am thinking greatsword and axe with teros stats and broken sigs.

um its aii its got some pretty unplayable mus in my opinion i fought him in moose wars and only lost to dropping my combo but he def did some stuff on it that i didnt know about i think if ur not fighting axe lance or bow u should be fine with gs
please also maybe add in a keyboard/ controller display to show off examples? my english isnt as good and i wanna get better with gs. seeing what the inputs are would greatly help with the guide
Another really stupid mechanic that catches a lot of people off guard is landing sair. By itself it's pretty mediocre, but it has a funky interaction with platforms. If you do a rising fair and you move onto a platform from below, you'll snap into the landing version which has an extremely active hitbox for some reason. This kills, and as I said, catches a lot of people off guard due to its absurd active frames. It's very situational, but it exists.
Having so much trouble trying to hit dc after the first hit. It almost feels like I’m just not pressing the right inputs (I’m on controller). I would do, slight - dc- nlight. I can never hit the bot with nlight.
Idk about keyboard but I play joystick controller and I can hit it constantly on ps4 and pc. The best thing I can tell you is after the slight, point down to do the dash then immediately look up and input the nlight.
@@mdesa7242 ah well its not really a 50/50 as they have the option to spot dodge or jump certain things but the nlight starter can be used to cover certain things better its very hard to do consistantly tho in the midst of a game so i wouldnt suggest it but im just putting the tech out there cuz there could be some crazy things possibly made with it that could become super optimal

Jesus I had no idea, I was doing reversals on hit after dashing really quickly somehow as of late but this looks way better for whiffs, Thank you!
well it depends dashing is good depending on situation spot dodge is good if there gonna punish and this is good as a mixup as well

you just gotta to it faster its alot tighter then most brawl combos but still pretty easy once u learn it
