Reminds me of Tony Dungy when he was with the Bucs. Tampa had to move on from him to win the big one.

You have to fire McDermott. I think Gruden would be perfect.

Brandon Beane is the gm.. who's call was it to not draft Xavier Worthy? Who's calling was it to trade that pick to the chiefs? Fire that guy

Somebody said he got hurt potentially. Not sure how true that is. I heard something about he sprained his ankle or something. He should've had at least 20 touches in this game regardless. Dude has really improved as a player and that TD he had where he reached for the goal line was one of the greatest postseason plays I've seen in a minute. In a gotta have it moment. I mean he got that ball and the defender was right there and immediately nailed him. I thought there was zero shot he was getting it to the goal line and he did. Incredible play.
He averaged 6.5 yards per carry in this game. 85 yards in like 12 carries. Whatever Buffalo does, they need to give him another contract and pay the man. Think he's gonna be one of the best backs in the AFC moving forward. He's deceptively strong for his size and the dude is so fucking shifty with the way he bounces laterally through gaps before he hits the second level. There's not a whole lot of game changing talent on this Buffalo squad. You've got Allen, and you've got Cook. Not much else really on the offense...so they have to make sure they keep him and build around the two of them. Yea it sucks they lost, yea they're gonna be the brunt of all the media talk about how they always come up short... I mean everyone is coming up short in this era of Mahomes.
They're so close, it's hard not to feel for them. This was supposed to be a retooling year for them, it's all anyone was talking about last offseason. They gotta find a way to add some more impact players to that roster. Very curious to see if they make any splash moves in the offseason. I think they should.

This isn't a video game, this is real life...making it to the final 4 is still a really good season. Based on Jake's argument, every coach in the AFC should be fired for the crime of being inferior to Andy Reid.

If the game was in Buffalo and not KC I think the Bills would have gotten the W. Home field advantage is huge. They need to be number 1 going into the playoffs.

Mmm not entirely they do kind of have a point... For a Defensive Minded HC, his defenses sure don't look all that good when it really matters, not only that though, Development doesnt seem Linear... Lots of draft picks and FA signings on the Defense that were either busts or just a complete waste (I know that Beane has say and this as well some he's to blame too but Von Miller, Kair Elam and Cole Bishop) and even some on the offensive side as well.
His scheme is an extremely basic one, which is strange because he's seen as a "Great" coach or a Guru. His clock management and overall game management from a HC perspective has been a problem to say the least for some years now and people have known this for awhile.
Im not saying they have to fire McD but when does constantly giving up a ton of points and a 9.4 YARDS PER PASS (Last Night) become a problem?
As a Bills fan, I felt like our defense gave up some of the most ridiculous 2nd and 3rd Long passes this entire season, not just last night.
The chiefs did the same play 3 times, they converted on 3rd down the first time, scored the second time and ENDED the game the last time. The Bills defense got caught on the same play 3 times.
As he said, when is it enough? 5th time? 6th time? 7th time? Josh is getting older and with his playstyle he likely wont his peak for much longer.
I dont think its rage bait, I think its a genuine conversation that needs to be had. 🤔

no need for a change? Look at Philly. They had Andy Reid for years. Falling short everytime. Thats actually when they changed that they finally won one. Ask the Broncos with Dan Reeves/Mike Shanahan and John Fox/Gary Kubiak as well. Or the Dungy/Chucky Bucs. Change is scary, but sometimes, change is needed.

Completely wrong. They started running the ball more and defense buckled down. Stop it.

What HC on the street has the offensive repertoire to elevate this Buf offense? The only option I could see this year that makes sense is hiring Brian Flores if he were to bring Kliff,Lincoln Riley or some Ben Johnson type OC. I like Brady but he’s not that guy to elevate them

    • @retrocny5625
      @retrocny5625 2 дні тому

It's not the BUF offense that needs elevated the most, though they do desperately need a real boundary threat with some speed, someone who can take the top off the defense and keep defenses honest.
The defense is just dreadful. They have serious holes in the secondary. Rasul Douglas took a major step back this year and is about to be a UFA. Taron Johnson is their standout secondary player as their slot corner, he's about to be 29 years old. Christian Benford is young and developing really nicely...but they still need another boundary corner. They used to have that guy in Tredavious White until he started getting hurt constantly and with major injuries besides. The kid they drafted, Elam, is atrocious and was absolutely lost on that field last night. 1st round pick, an absolute bust. On top of that, their safety play is not great. Taylor Rapp is OK as your strong side safety but Damar Hamlin ain't it man. He's a great guy, I'm glad he survived and was able to continue playing the game he loves, but he's not a starting free safety. He's a backup or special teamer. He's extremely undersized, he's slow and he's just not great in coverage and made lots of mistakes in coverage this year. He's also a UFA this season and I kinda don't think the Bills will resign. They went from one of the best safety tandems in football to one of the worst, when Hyde and Poyer aged out.
They drafted Cole Bishop to eventually become their starting free safety, but unless he takes a major leap in the offseason, I don't think he's their answer either. They have holes on the interior defensive line. Ed Oliver is a solid interior threat but he's undersized, not really a big run stopper, not even 300lbs, and he's very streaky. Some games he doesn't show up at all. They have holes on the edge as well. Greg Rousseau disappeared in this AFC championship game. He's supposed to be their every down edge rusher, and he hasn't developed into what people thought either. They have holes everywhere, and they really need to figure out a way to add more impact players to this defense. They don't have a Chris Jones, or a Trent McDuffie, they don't even have a Justin Reid. They just need better dudes, all it comes down to. And frankly, I think they need a wholesale change in defensive philosophy and transition away from McDermott's system. The Chiefs have it completely figured out and they don't have the talent to make up for that.

Josh Allen and the bills effort would be fine if the officials would call the games correctly instead of finding reasons to give the cheese 15 and 20 yds all the time falsely or holding up the real spot where they advanced to

No he shouldn’t. He’s done a good job. His only crime is not being able to beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, which is something only a handful of teams have done. If he should be fired, then so should John Harbaugh

How are you gonna blame Jerry Jones for the cowboys and then not blame the bills gm? Is it the coaches job to bring players in? Or are you just trying to fill a hr if talk and you don't believe anything that just came out if you're mouth lol
