I'm a Bama fan and for me, I'm rooting wholeheartedly for the Eagles. There are 0 former Bama players on the Chiefs roster, but I think there are 7 on the Eagles roster. I always root for former Tide players so "Go Eagles". My high school mascot was also the Eagles, so there's that too.
Same for me. I’m a Georgia fan and the eagles have 6 or 7 players from Georgia compared to the chiefs like 2. The eagles roster wise represents the sec much better too.
@ I heard - I think it was Curt Warner - talking about how many of the Eagles players are playing injured (specifically he mentioned Jurgens and Dickerson but also said that he watched Hurts trying to get comfortable with his knee brace before finally just chucking it) but still dominating the opposition. He shocked me with his next statement: “Roseman is building a tough team of guys that played for winning programs that make the program bigger than the players and with traditions of sacrifice and grit… like Georgia and Alabama. If you are physically able to play at all at those kind of programs, you feel an obligation to the tradition, the coaches, the fans, and especially your locker room.” I can’t remember if that is completely verbatim but it’s close enough for government work and everyone except the most pedantic, AMA-entranced, citation zealot. I can’t recall how the SEC schedule works but I guess we play you guys between the hedges next season and then it will be a while before the next regular season meeting. The Georgia/Alabama game has really become the best rivalry in the SEC because it seems that the post season is always controlled heavily by its outcome. Hopefully we’ll have frequent meetings in the SECCG. I just love seeing juggernauts leaving it all on the field with a championship hanging in the balance. It also feels good to come out on top most of the time but notwithstanding this years game, Kirby is now the king of the SEC in the wake of Saban’s retirement and DeBoer will have to win a lot more battles before he can compete for that throne. I have no issue with mahomes. That being said, I'm rooting for eagles for AJ Brown, Barkley, decontamination, hurts, gainwell, goedert, etc. I can't imagine the eagles winning if it's a close game - refs won't allow it
And haven’t sniffed a Conference Championship in 30 years. Jalen Hurts has won more playoff games than Dallas has since 1995. The Cowboys are as old and stale as their geriatric owner.
Kansas City is the home of BBQ. The whole state, apart from St. Louis, is Trump country. Pennsylvania is the home of John Fetterman. Who is an Eagles fan. I rest my case
