My wife and I were born in 1953 so that gave us the amazing priviledg of growing up with Linda Rondstadt music. We lived in So Cal at the time and I can't remember how many of her concerts we attended at the Universal Ampitheater before and after they enclosed it. She is the greatest female singer of our generation and maybe of all time. She began with Country music then Pop in the 70's, during the 80's she did Opera, (Pirates of Penzance), 40's Classics with Nelson Riddle Band, Spanish, her talent never ceases to amaze. I can't recommend just one song, But if you want an amazing time, and experience, duplicate what my wife and I used to do, (remember this was in the early 70's), get a giant bean bag pillow and toss it on the floor. Pour you and your wife a nice glass of wine, maybe a loaf of French Bread as well, Put on two of her albums, Prisoner in disguise and Heart like a wheel. You will thank me forever! My beautiful wife and i are now 71 and married for 53 years. As a bonus suggestion, get a copy of the album Trio, LInda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, and Dolly Parton. Angels in heaven copy them! A bit of trivia, she began her career in So Cal playing at the Palomino Club in Hollywood. Her travelling band decided that wanted to go out on their own and she encouraged them to do so. We know them today as the Eagles.
She grew up on the Sonoran borderlands and the Mexican ranchero music is part of her background. Her Mexican family's contribution to Arizona history is documented in the library of the University of Arizona. She wrote a very good book about her family history. She also spent a lot of time in Mexico as she grew up 40 miles from it. In her book she says that she grew up thinking English was the language you spoke in and Spanish the language you sang in.
Seb, i'm a 67 yrs old Chilean and I came to this wonderful country in 1979, in 1990 my Mom came to visit me for the first time then and Linda has just came out with this beautiful CASSETTE "Canciones de mi padre", my Mom and I would be going around driving and playing the tape, she didn't speak a word of English and I'm also marry to an American lady, that time was the only time that my Mom came over to visit me, she passed away soon after that, but that album will always take me back to the last time I saw my Mom, thanks for the flashback, felicidades
Linda Ronstadt is by far, the greatest voice of all time. She wanted to do these Ranchero/ Mariachi songs to honor her Mexican heritage. Her record company executives did not want her to deviate from her huge success with country/pop/rock hits. She insisted, it was a huge success and the rest was history. To this day, she holds the record for the largest selling Spanish language album. She’s amazing. When she was young she thought English was for speaking and Spanish was for singing, as she learned so much about music from her Mexican father and extended family. She’s an amazing talent! 🌸💐✌️
She is the greatest voice of all time. I love Karen Carpenters voice but Linda’s is better. I have listened to old and new female voices but no one compares .
Her music will never die! Will always be here for everyone to enjoy...always. im 72 and one day last week...as I still work...listening to her all day while driving. Just amazing...all her music..even 2 great records with Dolly Parton and Emmy Lou...little known song called Falling Star...awesome!
I'm here because Linda Ronstadt was the musical theme of my senior prom in 1974. Serb, I am 68 and my biggest regret is not learning a second language. I feel kids today who don't know at least 2 languages are at a real disadvantage. The earlier the better. Have the family speak only Spanish in the house. You and your wife could teach them quickly I would think. I'm not trying to tell you how to run your family 😂 It's believed I think that language opens the mind to so much more and I know that it provides so much more. Kids today are going to need every advantage they can possibly have. They will undoubtedly kick and scream and complain how miserable and stupid it is but there will come that day where they will be grateful for your teaching. Especially Spanish in America where the Spanish speaking community is the second largest in America. Love what you are doing here and I hope your channel continues to grow.
I can never understand why America not only isn't bilingual (English & Spanish), but doesn't have an "official language". I like the fact that here in Canada we have 2 official languages & although not all can speak French or English as a second language we embrace the fact that we are a bilingual country. Sebs: Please teach you children their father's native language. - Cheers & love from Canada!
She does have Mexican roots and blessed her father. I saw her in concert singing with Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan with my Spanish speaking Colombian father. Los Mariachis asked her to make albums with them. It was one of the most amazing concerts I've ever seen. Canciones de Mi Padre.
Also, Los Mariachi worked with her on translations, so she knew exactly what she was singing and she was raised in Arizona. Research Mariachi Vargas...they are a generational family band and entertainers. Classic Mexican. Awesome!
Watch her perform with the Nelson Riddle orchestra to experience Linda's incredible versatility and range, she literally can sing any style and sing it beautifully. Few if any like her.
The moment I heard Linda Rondstats voice, I was 15 years old.. I knew then, I had never heard such a vocalist and never would again. Concerts, owner every album, her biography, documentaries , were fascinating. The amazing facts of her life are endless. To date , I am in my sixties and I love Linda and her music just as much as ever before. When I heard the story about the experience she had when she lost her ability to sing, it was heartbreaking. Her honesty about her illness and her feelings about her life, are so deep and personal. God Bless her!
Yes I have always loved Linda Rondstandt. She and I are the same age and I was obsessed with her in the seventies. Her father was a member of a Mexican band and she never paid attention to his music til she was older. But she can sing rock, classical, country and now Mexican. She did a very famous album with Dolly Pardon called Tapestry. It was great! She’s amazing. She can sing anything!
Though exposed to it throughout her family, Linda did not speak Spanish day-to-day growing up and has said in an interview that she worked very hard with a vocal coach to perfect her pronunciation for this song and the album this song was recorded on, "Canciones de mi Padre." But 10 years before that, she released "Lo Siento Mi Vida" which she co-wrote with her father. She could sing the Beijing phone book in Mandarin and I would listen to her. Oh, teach your kids Spanish. It's one of my regrets that I didn't do it with my kids.
Check out 'Blue Bayou' or her version of 'Tumbling Dice'. I'm here because of Linda's talent which I never get tired out--my favorite singer, and Your Reaction to her music. That voice!
React to something from "Trio". When Linda teamed up with Dolly Parton and Emmy Lou Harris. In my opinion, Linda is one of the two greatest singers to ever grace any stage. The second, but not necessarily in that order is Aretha Franklin...she also could sing opera. Versatility is what sets singers apart.
I believe she won an Emmy for her televised performance in Pirates of Penzance. Her great songs include Desperado, Tracks of My Tears, Somewhere out There (duet), her Trio work with Dolly and EmmyLou, and other stuff
I lived in Tucson - working for the City - for a number of years. The Rondstadt family is legendary in Tucson, and rightfully so - they have a wonderful history of civil and philanthropic service to Tucson. Kudos to them. Linda's voice? Underappreciated, IMHO - Whitney Houston has the reputation of "the voice", but she never came close to the range of different musical cultures that Linda mastered. This - and the album - was a love letter to her family and heritage.
I read that while she was growing up, she thought of Spanish as a singing language and English as a speaking language. ❤❤️✌️ My husband is half Mexican and half Guatemalan. I have seen many mariachi bands at family events. It always brings me to tears.
Her German great-grandfather married a Mexican lady who lived in Arizona when it was still a part of Sonora, Mexico(1840s), after he left Michigan to settle there. Spanish is as widely diverse as English - I was stranded in Panama during a travel strike (late 1996?) and I relied more on my Parisienne French than my street Mexican to keep from starving, LOL. You can't miss Linda's cover of Roy Orbison's BLUE BAYOU, Warren Zevon's POOR POOR PITIFUL ME, and The Rolling Stones' TUMBLING DICE - as she perfected those good songs.
You should check out the 2019 documentary "Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice" to really gain an appreciation of her - not just singing ability, but who she is. The record company told her she would destroy her career doing this album (which ended up being 3 albums) and it ended up being the highest selling Spanish language album in the US ever. She was also told the same about her wanting to do an album of standards - which turned on a whole new generation to the "Great American Songbook", I know because I am one of them. Her work with Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton as "Trio" consists of some of the most heavenly harmonies you will hear. She has always managed to be humble too
So you know who “the Eagles” are…well they started as her band. She told them they would be very successful on their own. And so she set them free. Desperado is one of my favorites of her songs. It is the one song that I relate to the most. Whoever sings it. Check it out.
Linda has recorded a lot of covers. Her album "Heart Like a Wheel" has many of her biggest hits. My favorite songs are the ones she does with J D Souther, in particular the songs "Prisoner in Disguise" and "Silver Blue". Their voices are perfect together. They aren't her rocking hits but show such great artistry and emotion. Her recordings of "Desperado" and "I Will Always Love You", yes, the one that Whitney famously covered later are my favorite versions. Simple, clean, beautiful. Her biggest hits were probably her covers of "That'll Be the Day", "When Will I Be Loved", "Blue Bayou", "You're No Good", "It's So Easy", "Tracks of My Tears", her duet with Aaron Neville "Don't Know Much" and "Somewhere Out There" from the Disney movie "An American Tale". I also enjoy her work with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris on "Trio". "To Know Him" was quite a hit. So many great hits in so many genres. I can't name anyone off hand that has succeeded with so many different types of music.
I am a Mexican American Texan and La Charreada basically means The Rodeo. Linda is Mexican American and she speaks perfect Spanish and English and very fluent in both as her roots and heritage are from Mexico too. She is one of our wonderful Mexican American Icons and loved through out the United States and abroad. The Mariachi used here are part of an elite Mariachi family from Mexico whose band name is Mariachi Vargas which enhances and definitely and absolutely brings out the soul of the song and fully encompasses the listeners heart. If I can suggest an other wonderful artist who uses his personal Mariachi band (and they are super) is Luis Miguel and the song is "La Bikina", you'll absolutely love it and him too. Enjoy. Love your reaction.
In 1987 she released her album “Canciones de mi padre” (Songs of My Father). It sold 2½ million copies in the U.S., and is the biggest selling non-English language album in American record history. This album has been RIAA certified double-platinum (for over 2 million US copies sold) and also won her a Grammy for Best Mexican/Mexican-American Album at the 31st Grammy Awards.
As a no sabo kid myself I often feel ashamed for not knowing Spanish but there’s always time to learn our native language. Although I never learned Spanish I can sing it fluently and Linda Ronstadt’s Canciones de Mi Padre album was what I grew up singing too at a young age. I really enjoyed this reaction, you’ve gained a subscriber. 🫶🏼
I think that this performance of La Charreada is the most incredible performance of Linda Ronstadt's that I have ever heard. The sheer expressiveness and power of her voice in this song are incredible. Her clear joy that she feels when singing this song is wonderful to see as well.
One of my favorite female artists. She could sing anything. I really miss her voice. She did 2 albums with Dolly Parton and Emmilou Harris (Trio and Trio II). The second one really showcased Linda and her music but the harmonies between the 3 are simply amazing. Check out Feels Like Home or High Sierra.
I've watched few Mexican reactors do this song, very knowledgeable vocal coaches. They pretty much say that she does sing with an accent, but she absolutely nails the traditional singing styles of Mexican folk music. She did her homework.
Its difficult to believe that many of these reviewers of Linda Ronstadt have never heard of her or are unaware that she was a huge hitmaking artist of Rock and Country since 1968. With a thick, rich commanding and expressive voice, Ronstadt was the finest, best selling woman singer of the 1970s.
Definitely check out her work on "Pirates of Penzance" as well as her album "Lush Life" where she sings old school nightclub style standards such as "Stardust" and "Sophisticated Lady".
Her portrayal of Mabel in Pirates of Penzance is just wonderful. She performs along with Kevin Kline as the Pirate King and Angela Landsbury as Ruth, and that is my favorite version of Pirates of Penzance.
I came into the comments to recommend her standards also. Her album with Nelson Riddle What’s New is beautiful. Any song from that work is worth listening to. My favorites are What’ll I Do by Irving Berlin, and Someone to Watch Over Me by George & Ira Gershwin. ❤
Thanks for this! Linda had 5 platinum albums in a row. Don Henley and Glenn Frey of the Eagles were her backup band for a while. Songs you should check out are her versions "Desperado" by the Eagles, "You're no Good", "Blue Bayou", "Don't Know Much" (duet with Aaron Neville), and the albumn "Trio" which she did with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris. I grew up with her in Tucson Arizona. My mother was her father's admin at Ronstadt Hardware. She truly had an amazing voice from childhood and on.
Bro there are so many angles on Linda. Rock listen to You’re No Good or Silver Threads and Golden Needles. Country she did an album with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris called Trio any song is amazing. She did opera The Pirates of Penzance. She did American Songbook Classics here listen to For Sentimental Reasons or When You Wish Upon a Star. Amazing duets with the late James Ingram (Somewhere Out There). Her cover of the Eagles Desperado is credited by the Eagles for making their version a hit. She was queen of the 70s but sang well into the 90s. She dated George Lucas and The Governor of California in her personal life but never married. Lost the ability to sing due to a Parkinson’s like disorder. She’s still very much alive but retired from performing in the mid 2000s. Amazing lady generational talent. Please do more!
I cannot even tell you how huge this album was. And also, you still hear it in Mexican restaurants! But they played this on every kind of station. This was a massive crossover. Don’t tell anyone because I’m a huge Linda Ronstadt fan. Huge. But I really did not want to listen to this album anymore! It was everywhere. And yet this is one of my favorite Linda Ronstadt performances. So impressive and she’s so happy to be there. Love her.
Linda's album "Canciones de Mi Padre" is the biggest selling non-English language album in the history of American recorded music. Let that sink in. The full concert is on UA-cam. Looking forward to more Linda reactions. You will not be disappointed.
She said at family gatherings that they talked in English but when they sang it was traditional Mexican folk songs. She doesn't speak Spanish but her family taught her their pronunciation.
"She's beautiful man"...now that's an understatement if I ever heard one. She is and always will be beautiful and talented. We were blessed to have her and all her talent,
I grew up listening to Linda through 70s pop. The one project of hers I fell in love with was her work with Nelson Riddle. I remember her in interview saying what a challenge it was to control her voice for the music of the 40s. As a representative of that effort I suggest you check out “What’s New”
Thanks for reacting to this, Sebs. I knew you would like it. I know that you have reacted to Long Long Time (The Last of Us song) but here are some other suggestions: Blue Bayou (arguably her most famous song), You're No Good, La Cigarra (if you're in the mood for another Spanish-language song), When You Wish Upon A Star, and my favorite belter: I Knew You When.
Sebs - my favorite of Linda’s spanish songs is “Los Laureles”. i am 72 - when i was very young, mom would wake us kids singing this song in the mornings while making our beds & doing the morning cleaning💕
Linda Ronstadt is one of the best female singers & can sing any genre from ballads to country to rock & even opera. Linda has Mexican heritage on her dad's side. Growing up she listened to many types of music, including Mexican music, which was sung by her entire family. She does a great job singing in Spanish. I have her her album "Canciones De Mi Padre". Sadly she has progressive supranuclear palsy & can no longer sing a note.
Linda's voice is amazing singing Rock & Soul oldies and Country Classics but her renditions of Mexican Mariachi Ranchera is over the top, stunningly fantastic. Every genre Ronstadt tackled she got deep into those music cultures.
We took my grandparents to this concert in San Francisco. My grandparents loved it. It's one of the best concerts I have ever seen and I have been to many since I was 14 years old. This ties with Prince Love Sexy Tour.
She was in an operetta, The Pirates of Penzance, that was made into a movie. If you want to see more of her range, it’s on full display there- and on film. 😊
I’ve been waiting for someone to get around to this song from Linda Ronstadt. It is awesome! She learned these in Spanish as homage to father. I saw Linda in concert in 1977 for $6.50! 💙👵🏼☮️
I've seen Linda Rondstat many years ago here in Atlanta. She needs NO microphone. Her voice is clear and amazing. She definitely sings opera and I can see how.
Check out The Trio. Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton and Emmy Lou Harris. They cover Neil Young's After the Gold Rush. There's an official video and they did an amazing live performance on Letterman. Brings tears to my eyes, so beautiful.
I’m here for anything Linda does. She was one of the voices of my youth. Such an amazing voice & range. It is so sad that a type of Palsy has taken away her ability to sing..but it has not taken away her voice as she still speaks out on important topics as her latest political statement shows. Glad you are checking her out. She sings a variety of genres & does them all well! Ps: one of my closest friends is Chilean & she describes her language as Spanish slang 😄 . English is still difficult for her & we teach art together to elementary students..fortunately I’ve got her hand gestures down so am able to interpret what she’s trying to say…but sometimes we end up laughing until we cry especially as our other 2 teachers are Japanese & Indian (Hindi)! We are quite the team 😂 Linda sang Gilbert & Sullivans “Pirates of Penzance” opera on Broadway, she also did old classics with a big band, she’s done country but is most famous for rock & pop. Edited to correct her diagnosis. See comment below for correct diagnosis name. 😊
Agree with you 100% but there is one correction: she does not have Parkinson's. Her voice was robbed from her by progressive supranuclear palsy which has many of the same symptoms but a completely different cause and treatment. She was misdiagnosed in 2011 and received the correct diagnosis in 2019. In between she received the wrong treatment.
@@hectorsmommy1717 you’re right…I used the wrong “p” condition. Thanks for the correction! I hate putting incorrect info out. I have edited my comment to reflect the correct diagnosis referring them to your comment for full correct name. Thanks again.
Yes please do more of her music. Another Mexican song she does is La Cigarra, she holds her notes for so long just amazing. Her opera song from the Pirates of Penzance is Poor Wandering One the range oh my. Desperado, Down so Low are 2 more fantastic songs she does live.
The song The Sound of My Voice is also the name of an amazing film about her. Glad you're starting to understand what a superstar she was to those of us who grew up listening to her incredible voice.
This is part of a two hour full show of Mariachi song and dance! Watch all the songs from the show- La Cigarra. It’s the top selling Spanish language album in the US of all time. Many Mexicans think Linda nailed the style. ❤
I don't know any guy who was alive in the '70s and '80s who wasn't crazy in love with Linda Ronstadt. She could sing the phone book (remember those?) and make it sound bewitching. Try the live video of her song LaCigarra for an even more astonishing look at her vocal talent.
It's not too late to teach your family Spanish. Languages are assets in life. It will cost you nothing. My dad, born in the early twenties, came to the US from Panamá after WWII. He spoke Spanish, French, English and some Portuguese. Back in the day, we were taught English so we would fit in and succeed in America. I forgive him, but I really wish he would have taught me languages. Learning as a child is the way it works. I keep working on Spanish, maybe some day I will feel like I fit in across the border as well!
No matter whether or not someone likes Mariachi music, it is leagues better than what they pass off as Latino music today. And Mariachis were the first foreign artists I saw in Moscow (then Soviet Union) when I was 6, after the government lifted up the Iron Curtain a little bit and allowed us to listen to different kinds of music. As a young impressionable kid, I was totally smitten and love it still. Thanks for the reaction, Sebs! Thanks and God Bless!
According to Wikipedia... "At 2½ million US sales, it stands as the biggest selling non-English language album in American record history. This album has been RIAA certified double-platinum (for over 2 million US copies sold) and also won Ronstadt the Grammy Award for Best Mexican/Mexican-American Album at the 31st Grammy Awards."
I'm Mexican American and only speak Spanglish. I was in a Bible study group once that had a Nicaraguan, Venezuelan, el Salvadoran, a Mexican, and another Mexican American. The only one I could understand, was the Mexican American. I grew up with ranchero music, which is just Mexican country music, which I don't care for. But I LOVE mariachi music, love it. Especially the mandolin. That instrument adds so much to the music. I recently found your channel so forgive me if you already did this one, but Linda Ronstadt's beat of a different drum is one of my favorites. If you want to see a great npic of her, look for the album cover with her in a doorway, wearing satin shorts and on roller 🛼 skates.
Seb, Linda was “thee voice” of the ‘70’s, ‘80’s. “Hurts So Bad”, “Desperado”, “Track of My Tears”, “ You’re No Good”, “Blue Bayou”, “Ooh Baby Baby”, “Different Drum”, her and Karen Carpenter owned the ‘70’s. Willie Nelson said of her: “ There are two kinds of people, those who love Linda Ronstadt and those who have never met her”……SanJoséBob
Linda's vocal range is 3 octaves, from contralto to soprano. She is my favorite female singer of all time.

I saw her live many, many years ago in Pirates of Penzance on Broadway. She was a force of nature with that voice.
She is of Mexican heritage on her Dad's side. She grew up singing in Spanish. She also sang operetta.
Linda did every type and style of music from Opera to Country to rock
And she did it in spite of what the music execs told her.
She laid it all out there, yet, old age took her voice.
She's beautiful.

The pride of Tucson, Arizona. ¡Viva, Linda!
Viva!

You never covered Eagles???? Cover Seven Bridges Road if you ever want to hear band vocal harmony.
I love Linda, but in her documentary she says that she does not speak Spanish and had to learn the songs on her album phonetically.
I have heard the same thing about linda ronstadt that she did not Speak spanish. I love louis miguel...
Linda doesn't speak Spanish fluently.
I took my parents to see Linda Ronstadt in concert back in the 80's where she sang Canciones de mi Padre. One of my favorite memories!
I think that this performance of La Charreada is the most incredible performance of Linda Ronstadt's that I have ever heard. The sheer expressiveness and power of her voice in this song are incredible. Her clear joy that she feels when singing this song is wonderful to see as well.
I don't understand a word of it.
I LOVE it!
Queen of the 70s
Linda's singing voice is a force of nature!!
Oh Linda! Love love love.
Somewhere Out There (with James Ingram), You're No Good, Different Drum (with Stone Poneys), Blue Bayou, so many more!
I love Somewhere Out There
One of my favorite female artists. She could sing anything. I really miss her voice. She did 2 albums with Dolly Parton and Emmilou Harris (Trio and Trio II). The second one really showcased Linda and her music but the harmonies between the 3 are simply amazing. Check out Feels Like Home or High Sierra.
Sebs, thanks for your reaction to Linda. I didn't realize how differently Spanish is spoken in different countries. Very interesting.
I've watched few Mexican reactors do this song, very knowledgeable vocal coaches. They pretty much say that she does sing with an accent, but she absolutely nails the traditional singing styles of Mexican folk music. She did her homework.
Limdas Father Gilbert had a beautiful voice. This dedication to her Padre was beautiful.
This whole album is phenomenal!❤❤❤
To explore Linda's vocal capabilities further, listen to Mabel's Song/Poor Wandering One from the movie Pirates of Penzance.
Love her.
Love Linda from the Stone Poney days. I do not speak or know Spanish, but this is one of my favorite albums. Thanks for the review.
Linda's album "Canciones de Mi Padre" is the biggest selling non-English language album in the history of American recorded music. Let that sink in. The full concert is on UA-cam. Looking forward to more Linda reactions. You will not be disappointed.
Canciones de mi Padre is my happy album
Linda Rondstadt singing Desperado with just piano.
The whole album is 🔥❤️🔥🔥
She said at family gatherings that they talked in English but when they sang it was traditional Mexican folk songs. She doesn't speak Spanish but her family taught her their pronunciation.
Check out Linda's hit song "Blue Bayou" to hear more of her range and high notes. Absolutely fantastic.
Blue Bayou by Linda Rhonstat, amazing high crystal clear voice
This album has been a favorite of mine for years! Linda knocks it out of the park singing the songs of her heritage.
Before even watching my prediction is she'll blow you away
"She's beautiful man"...now that's an understatement if I ever heard one. She is and always will be beautiful and talented. We were blessed to have her and all her talent,
I grew up listening to Linda through 70s pop. The one project of hers I fell in love with was her work with Nelson Riddle. I remember her in interview saying what a challenge it was to control her voice for the music of the 40s. As a representative of that effort I suggest you check out “What’s New”
She did Pirates of Penzance on Broadway and the movie. You should check out Poor Wandering One. She is amazing
One of the greatest of all time
I love this woman's alto. I just love it.
You said it, "Awesome" and "incredible". She has a powerful voice.
Her performances are always so confident and seemingly effortless.
Lovely Linda, a voice for the ages.
Perfection! One of my all-time favorite female singers. You absolutely must check out ALL of her music! It will blow you away!
We are quite the team 😂
Linda sang Gilbert & Sullivans “Pirates of Penzance” opera on Broadway, she also did old classics with a big band, she’s done country but is most famous for rock & pop.
@@donnaj9769 She was misdiagnosed at first so many people still think it is Parkinson's if they hadn't heard about the updated diagnosis.
You used the correct term, “Master Musician”.
Glad you're starting to understand what a superstar she was to those of us who grew up listening to her incredible voice.
the. Breath. CONTROL. Holy cannoli. Absolutely insane.
I love her. I cried when I read, recently, they she can no longer hear, or even speak.
She has two CDs: "Canciones de Mis Padres and "Mas Canciones". Her father's mariachi band was one of the best known in Mexico.
A friend of mine used to go to some bar in either Virginia or West Virginia and watch Rondstadt before she made it big. She was so good.
She sang everything and sang it very well.
Why I like you. You seem like a great dad. Do great videos and when you go back in, all you hear is the recycling is not going to take itself out.
Songs of her father is one of her best albums.
Her voice is amazing, no matter what language, or genre she is singing.
Check out her Nelson Riddle albums, with songs from the 40's and big band sounds. She's AMAZING.
You need to react to her singing, Desperado. It’s so so beautiful!
Great pick🎉
Seb, Linda was “thee voice” of the ‘70’s, ‘80’s. “Hurts So Bad”, “Desperado”, “Track of My Tears”, “ You’re No Good”, “Blue Bayou”, “Ooh Baby Baby”, “Different Drum”, her and Karen Carpenter owned the ‘70’s. Willie Nelson said of her: “ There are two kinds of people, those who love Linda Ronstadt and those who have never met her”……SanJoséBob
Check out Linda singing La Cigarra (The Cicada) also from this album. Outstanding!!!
This album and video are the best. "Songs of My Father" is the name of the album. (In Spanish)
More, more, more Linda Ronstadt!
