The Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 SUV is an Electric Mercedes GLE

Mercedes-EQ EVs are pretty impressive, just like the brand's internal-combustion offerings. Here we'll take a look at the EQE 500 SUV, which is a midsize luxury electric SUV in a similar vein to the Tesla Model X, BMW iX, and Audi Q8 e-tron.

Interesting tidbit about the script on the windshield. I had a 2016 GLE that had "G. Daimler" script on the windshield. Recently traded for a 2023 GLE that has "Carl Benz" script on the windshield. Not sure which models get which names, but super cool that you pointed that out. Great work, as always!

EQE500 comes with 10 degree rear axle steering. turning radius is just 35.5ft. super impressive

For almost the same price the BMW I7 blows this xar away, in comfort and tech. Although i wouldn't mind owning a EQE 500.
I'm surprised the hood is not made of aluminum, to reduce weight, my RAV4 Prime hood is made of aluminum.

I've been driving an EQE SUV loaner while my EQS SUV gets repaired. Neither one is good with bumpy roads / pot holes. You WILL feel the bumps. The suspension is stiff even in comfort mode! The EQS's massaging seats features a weak massage. So if you're looking for a plush ride and with a good deep quality massage, look elsewhere. Oh, and I was firmly told by Mercedes Benz staff that if I switch the original air suspension to a more plush after-market one, it will void the 4 year warranty.

All of the EQE models look so much better than their EQS stablemates. I still think BMW does a better job at designing modern luxury EV’s.
