- A day trip to Central NL, to Lewisporte and then to Sceivours Island. Spent the Afternoon Cod Fishing and of course a fish fry. It was a rough day on the water for me and we didn't catch our limit but we did get a nice few fish for the Fish Fry and a few meals to take home. Another Adventure, a great day in the books. #offgrid #newfoundlandandlabrador #drone #fishing #codfishing #adventures #adventuresoffgrid

@@ashleyhann-adventuresoffgrid it’s all good I sure miss the island.
Cod fishing is one of our favorites! Of course the whole salt water experience is like nothing else. We put hundreds of hours on our boat each summer.
Awsome I agree nothing like the salt water I spend a nice bit of time in the waters here I. White bay area
This was so fun to watch. What a beautiful way of life! I liked the salt and vinegar chips idea, they go down well when you're sick I guess?
Ever since I was little whenever I got motion sick always salt and vinegar chips..im guessing the salt has something that makes u feel better
My God, that fish looks excellent!
It was yummy 😋
I live in fishing village sou' west Nova Scotia. We use to do stuff like that. But haven't for about 30 yeras. Stopped for some reason. Same as rabbit hunting, use to be big thing here. Nobody goes now. Bonamine is best for seasickness. I found anyway. I had major problems lobster fishing until I took that
Tyler Gilbert gave to me a cod, was the best fish ever, sweet as a nut. I spent 20 yrs fishing west coast and nothing better I have ate than that cod.
Starved for bit fried fish now here 12 in the night lol
Another little bit you’d made it to my home town Twillingate .
Haha yes id say..been to twilligate many of times..its been awhile hoping to get that way soon tho
@@ashleyhann-adventuresoffgrid look me up if happen get this way
Give you 5 min tour an get you out in boat
A true Newfie girl
Didnt take you long to figure out how to clean it Ashley !
Haha nah I've done them before just everybody has their ways of doing it
Fresh water kid here - what is the salt fish- is it a curing process or a type of fish? Google isn't helpful today.
With cod you can have it fresh as is or what they call salt fish..so it gets salted for a period of time before cooking
Another great video.
