And if the animation, which usually indicates the direction of the ult, can bug how can you know the ult itself can't bug aswell? You just go with reflexes and doms take is inappropriate tbh...
The issue is that the bug can go either way, it could have started bugged and he’s already used the gate and he is behind you, or as it was he hadn’t used the gate and is on top of you. It’s a bug that did affect the fight, pause and back in time seems the correct call.

Well we also should have the mindset that if a bug occurs in your game you get to replay a fight that you lost when the enemy team had a very low chance of winning in the first place. The job of a ref is to try to fix bugs and chronobreak the game if they can nullify the bug. You don't punish the team who picked Akshan because the game is bugged. If you can't chronobreak without fucking over 1 of the 2 teams, you remake. Terrible job from the refs and I'm sure G2 management is already grilling riot about it.

Literally no game ever is perfect, and especially so with a game which is constantly updating, rather than more static games which have had a long time to iron out any potential broken interactions (were this latter the case, then I would agree w/ you more). The editor skips so many funny moments from the nutsack bois stream. He almost entirely focuses on the moments where stuff is happening in the match, meaning we miss out on a lot of the funny banter that make these western games watchable. Tragic!
