Journey to the West: Ft. Christopher Columbus

The voyages of Columbus brought the Americas into contact with the 'Old World'. Control over territories of this 'New World' would slingshot Europe to the forefront of economic activity and help the seafaring nations of Europe come to the top of not only global trade, but global influence and military power. Here we discuss the first two voyages of Columbus, through which the saga of America's Colonisation started.
