A question:
since we have style on several pages, I put the stylesheets in the file global.scss
Seems to work in my localhost. Are there any downsides to this method?

I use ionic 8 and angular 17 standalone.

I answer my Q:
by using "addIcons({})" in .ts i solved the problem

I'm following your tutorial I have ionic 7 but I'm having a problem with the icons, they aren't visible even though the code looks in order

ionic.io/ionicons - not sure why, try checking if you have the correct icon name

I fixed the issue, I didn't include the names for those specific icons in the imports made in the app.component.ts file. Thanks though for the tutorial, really helpful!
