A few Paris misconceptions I picked up from my time living there. The good outweighs the bad but I noticed social media led me into the wrong direction with a few of these.
I can't get through Paris without having to deal with criminal gangs, rancid streets, anti-everything fundamentalists, and blue collar fraudulence. But I guess that's just quirky ol' me with a very streak of bad luck that only I'd run into. I shouldn't stray from flat > Uber > venue > Uber > flat.
Haha! I find that crime is typically higher in the touristy areas (Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur) but there’s still plenty of beautiful parks and neighborhoods that are more laid back and safe :)

All of Paris is not at all the Hollywood portrayal or what celebrities live. It's quite funny how far from reality that is
Agree! I think the same goes for LA and the perceptions we get of Hollywood based on media

definitely a problem in most major cities! I got robbed in Paris but that hasn’t stopped me from moving back😂
