Ok allow me to explain beascuits then: You get them from Beast-Yeast stages and to get any good ones you need to clear the normal difficulty (1,5 mil power+) and to get beast beascuits(Legendary) you need to clear hard mode (Around 3mil power needed) And then come attunement mechanic where according to beascuit rarity you get more substats (Common=1 Legendary=4) and these arę not guaranteed to have the Beascuit type (btw there arę 8 beascuit types according to the types Cookies have) and to have a chance to change it to the Beascuit type you need to spend crystals and you have max. 16 attempts (with Legendary). So yeah ... Oh and the amount you have to pay is increasing with each attunement and you're not guaranteed to have substats that arę usable for the said beascuit type (Let's say there are Ambush Substats(Only Ambush cookies arę affected) on Charge Beascuit and if you attune there is no guarantee to get Charge Substat)
At first i just thought sueing devsisters a game company was just plain stupid cause most of these game companies are money hungry but more I thought yeah I can see why they deserve this I just hope things go well for them Just hope kingdom will fixed and survive through this issue

While I’ve enjoyed the Cookie Run franchise for a while, I’m afraid of it getting ruined by its company’s greed. Don’t get me wrong, Devsisters has done lots of good things like organising Last Cookie Standing and cancelling Ancient+ upon listening to player feedback, but the CRK development team can do so little when under the thrall of the higher-ups, who treat their employees questionably such as laying off most of their US employees and doing nothing to prevent Rose from being harassed to the point where she quit (other than using her as a scapegoat). At this point I don’t think CR is going to last if those higher-ups keep making irresponsible business decisions that can kill their own reputation.

So Devsis is getting sued over the drop rates of Beascuits and whatever else the mega whales of CRK want to add in there.

I’ve been a day one player and I have quit after the mermaid update last year. This game has gotten so ptw, rarely listens to their community, and is just getting more trash overall. I used to love playing the game but now it’s just so grindy and the meta was (and still is) changing so frequently that it was hard to enjoy the game at all.
Damn, I'm disappointed with the new update but after the rework, it's quite F2P friendly and I'm grateful for that and I am still getting anxious that the update might be not going well but let's just hope it will be fine. But now I didn't expect this to happen! :/

ME TOO but I came back like a month ago and I caught up very very quickly! Tbh the game is still extremely f2p friendly and they even gave me a free ancient! Which was white lily cookie, she carries my time so I had an easy time in the arenas 🥲

DEVSISTERS has apologized for the previous situation of the ancient+ rarity and have been incredibly generous after our protests, considering the fact that yes, they have made poor financial decisions, it makes no sense to protest against an update that was released on august 9th, 2023. (A Mermaid's Tale) And i believe some haters are silently blending in to the protests. They have done the correct thing this time and it is the same mechanic as always (farming + grinding = rewards.) which in this case is the soulprisms we need for awakened Dark Cacao Cookie. I understand the anger of P2W korean players but it is a bit too much and we should not be supporting all of this hatred over a problem that is currently trying to be fixed, also we have to be considerate of the hardworking people behind the incredible quality of every update, both visual and animatic. It is way too much to sue a company over a poor financial decision when they have fixed the things needed to be fixed. Just because the korean players have a good sustainability and can afford things free to play players can't, does not make it right to go as far a suing for a problem that the company acknowledged AND fixed.

As far as I know, the main issue was the upcoming "Ancient+" rarity that was showcased before the update got released and we all protested against it as I mentioned in my previous comment. But if you actually do a deep research and context of what's happening (look up at another video, this one is not really delving into the main issue) Korean players are being petty and complaining about an issue inside another issue that was fixed and that has nothing to do with the previous protests. So to clarify, many people are supporting without truly knowing the context of things. As for your first argument, the answer is Yes! They did make poor financial decisions as it is described as the decision that brings more loss than gains which is what happened with the whole controversy of a new rarity, they obviously lost money since adding features costs money and time which is considered as a poor financial decision. I completely understand the aspect of the money many people (Korean mainly) spend on the game. Yet, can you not question how "protests" are turning more greedy and petty too? both kingsisle games are basically dead though (when it comes to an online youtube presence), the only people who play still are whales, the very small minority of content creators, and people who have been playing since they were young. While I say that, I also don't disagree. considering that w101 literally has GAMBLING, while entirely supposed to be a kids game. Well, they were mainly sued because of Korea’s amendment on loot box probability. It forces developers to disclose the correct probability of obtaining chance-based item. The probabilities on the banners are wrong, which is why they were sued.

i stopped playing for a while now (i think after the disney collab?) and i gotta say ive been thinking of comming back, yet from what ive seen w/ the newest cookies + arena's in general its just hard for me as a sort of veteran (i started playing during latte cookie's banner was up) to joijn back where im wayyy behind
ME TOO but I came back like a month ago and I caught up very very quickly! Tbh the game is still extremely f2p friendly and they even gave me a free ancient! Which was white lily cookie, she carries my time so I had an easy time in the arenas 🥲

Before you start critizicing my comment, please read this carefully for i know that many people lack of reading comprehension with this situation and are throwing more charcoal in the almost- calmed fire.
DEVSISTERS has apologized for the previous situation of the ancient+ rarity and have been incredibly generous after our protests, considering the fact that yes, they have made poor financial decisions, it makes no sense to protest against an update that was released on august 9th, 2023. (A Mermaid's Tale) And i believe some haters are silently blending in to the protests. They have done the correct thing this time and it is the same mechanic as always (farming + grinding = rewards.) which in this case is the soulprisms we need for awakened Dark Cacao Cookie. I understand the anger of P2W korean players but it is a bit too much and we should not be supporting all of this hatred over a problem that is currently trying to be fixed, also we have to be considerate of the hardworking people behind the incredible quality of every update, both visual and animatic. It is way too much to sue a company over a poor financial decision when they have fixed the things needed to be fixed. Just because the korean players have a good sustainability and can afford things free to play players can't, does not make it right to go as far a suing for a problem that the company acknowledged AND fixed.
Dude companies don't have feelings, they didn't make a "poor financial decision" they would bleed every single player dry if they could.
They're clearly pushing their limits, and people need to put them back in line.
Also they're getting sued cuz they're breaking a law, and if they're really at fault, it's completely justified, and if they're not, it won't affect them at all.

As far as I know, the main issue was the upcoming "Ancient+" rarity that was showcased before the update got released and we all protested against it as I mentioned in my previous comment. But if you actually do a deep research and context of what's happening (look up at another video, this one is not really delving into the main issue) Korean players are being petty and complaining about an issue inside another issue that was fixed and that has nothing to do with the previous protests. So to clarify, many people are supporting without truly knowing the context of things. As for your first argument, the answer is Yes! They did make poor financial decisions as it is described as the decision that brings more loss than gains which is what happened with the whole controversy of a new rarity, they obviously lost money since adding features costs money and time which is considered as a poor financial decision.
I completely understand the aspect of the money many people (Korean mainly) spend on the game. Yet, can you not question how "protests" are turning more greedy and petty too? When capsaicin was released we needed the so called "gem shards" (5k of them.) to get him guaranteed and this happened too with stardust cookie, so why didn't they complain back then?I believe that not only Korean but English fanbase is taking advantage of the slight controversy that is still lingering to demand for more and more.

both kingsisle games are basically dead though (when it comes to an online youtube presence), the only people who play still are whales, the very small minority of content creators, and people who have been playing since they were young.
While I say that, I also don't disagree. considering that w101 literally has GAMBLING, while entirely supposed to be a kids game. But really kids don't play it (or at least if they do, they'd be bullied by literal grown adults into not playing anymore. I went back to the game to play with some friends and someone dead told me to "get back to the kitchen" because I joined their battle just to finish the quest I had)

Well, they were mainly sued because of Korea’s amendment on loot box probability. It forces developers to disclose the correct probability of obtaining chance-based item. The probabilities on the banners are wrong, which is why they were sued.

Like okay I get it people you switched to other games like CROB or CR:TOA… but like still respect their updates that they release… it is not that hard… CRK is one of the most f2p games I have ever played and seeing this just makes me not disappointed but frustrated with people that are suing Devsis over a game… its ridiculous, they have fixed the Ancient+ rarity and changed it into an awakening system and many people are happy with it… so just ignore the game(CRK) and play something else bruh it isn’t that hard… as other people said and I agree it is the fans that should learn their lesson not Devsis…
I came back to crk a few days ago after about a year, and let me say, it’s so much worse. Everything is so much harder to get, and in arena, it’s not balanced because mystic flower is so op. idk but I won’t be playing this game anymore
