A fine shop with the personal touch. Nicholas and Tom never fail to make great suggestions both on Savile Row or on their visits to the states. The quality of the garments they make is extraordinary.
Dege and Skinner have even made a cosplay uniform of the Japanese show Gundam, for the character Char Aznable. Featuring long white boots and an embroiderd red tunic
Over the last year I’ve grown very interested in this art. It’s very difficult to find good information about it. I’m to the point where I want to befriend tailors in my city just to extract knowledge from them. I’m fascinated by this.
Wonderful work 👏🏻 very very impressive. Gerçekten yaptığınız iş takdire şayan. Zanaatkârlığı izleyiciyle buluşturduğunuz için teşekkür etmek gerekli size.
It's so important - and always far more interesting - when someone presenting a programme actually knows what he's talking about; and has the taste to guide the rest of us: and you, sir, know exactly what you're talking about and I've never yet been able to question your taste. Not that I would want to, of course.... I'd love to have a bespoke suit, but - well, these days, a) I'm old, and who really cares?, and b) so very few people dress well these days that I really doubt if anyone would notice if I were dressed if anything better than sackcloth with rayon trimming..... Ah well.
So interesting to hear and see the sartorial interplay between Military, Ceremonial and Civilian. Is there an equivalent in the ecclesiastical world of UK tailors?
You know it's going well when 53 minutes go by and your a little annoyed that it gets wound up when you wanted to see and hear more. At 29 minutes when Mr Skinner mentions The Art of Luxury, probably the essence of high class bespoke tailoring, particularly on Savile Row.
The red coat on the right (@1:56) looks exactly like what Lord Crawley, Earl of Grantham wore to Lady Rose's coming out party at the Palace with their RM's King and Queen George V & Queen Mary. I'd love to get a suit there. A tweed hunting suit, a kilt, something... 🤔 English 🏴
I’d recommend having his shoulder pitch pushed more forward on his pattern, if you look, the front of his shoulder is pushing forward causing it to be more tight. Causing the collar to space.
Kirby, don't know how many of your comments you still read. One bit of constructive feedback based on having watched a number of your longer format videos over the last few weeks. You use a lot of verbal fillers, in particular "you know," "kind of," "I mean," and "really." Along with some unnecessary adverbs and inserting that "right?" into the middle of sentences that people have started to do a lot in the last two years. Reduce or eliminate those and it will greatly enhance your clarity and presence.
The only true tailoring house in my city is very traditional. He refuses to make anything trendy whatsoever. He’s stuck in the 90s with power suit cuts. I haven’t found any other bespoke tailors.
Hello sir can you help me tailoring job this company my tailoring experience 10 years+ I all items stitching bespoke suit over cott Wes cot trousers everything all stitch
Great video and content. However I couldn't stop noticing the unbuttoned double breasted suit William the tailor was wearing. It looks very oversized; almost like drapery since it's hanging very loosely. Maybe a double breasted suit should never be unbuttoned, especially whilst standing. The exception obviously being when sitting.

Having had my evening at the theatre 🎭 cancelled, this great video was a welcome relief. Such superb clothes, some real corkers in there!!
Haha, thanks! Sorry to hear about the cancellation!
Now this was just incredible. Thank you Kirby!
You are very kind!
Superb Kirby.
I certainly appreciate this elegant, high-quality, clothier.
Thank-you for sharing this Traditional, Gentlemen’s Trade.
Many thanks!

Well we didn't put one out last week, so making it up to you!

Thank you for taking the time to make such an interesting video, Kirby.
Lovely interview. Respect from Turkey.
Love your content, looking forward to seeing you back in London again soon hopefully.
I hope so!
Anybody else notice how Kirby always gives the freemasons handshake.
Could you describe it?
I will save this video for the weekend. I’ll light up a Padron 1926 Series #90 and drink a nice boulevardier.
Have a wonderful Christmas gentlemen
There may be another video coming late Christmas day, perfect for a cigar... 😉
Extremely insightful, thanks Kirby!
So many Christmas presents. Yesterday live stream and today again a situated video. So it can go on. Thank you Kirby
More to come!

The turnback cuffs on the their suit jackets are an interesting touch.
The final shooting suit - wow!
Excellent, Amazing!
Thanks Kirby
Always Enjoy Your Videos !!
Merry Christmas
I feel refined just watching it
I like my your work, maravilloso.
What is the approximate cost of having a suit made here and how long? I will be in London for a week.

Can we have a tour of the factory that makes your fine braces the quality is amazing would love to see how there made
That is definitely something we would like to do in 2022!
with what costs do I have to count to buy one of their suits?
Do they still cut and make all the bespoke stuff on the savile row premises?
Yes, everything is cut and made on Savile Row
You have to be careful with military terms;
Mess Dress, is a suave outfit ;)
However Mess Kit is an assortment of food related items.
So interesting to hear and see the sartorial interplay between Military, Ceremonial and Civilian. Is there an equivalent in the ecclesiastical world of UK tailors?
Love the matching stripe suits. Was that planned?
I wonder if the house style is to have a coat a bit longer or if it is his preference.
Brilliant
Cheers! I hope you also enjoyed yesterday's livestream!
@@kirbyallison as always your productions are amazing have a very merry Christmas to you and all
Did anyone else here the mingling of audio as well at around 49:44? Great video once again however.

10:20 me, who actually sometimes goes to a doctor, just for him to give me a recipe for something I wanna have because I already know that I need it
Is Nick the head cutter wearing a Huntsman suit?
The red coat on the right (@1:56) looks exactly like what Lord Crawley, Earl of Grantham wore to Lady Rose's coming out party at the Palace with their RM's King and Queen George V & Queen Mary.

A kilt?
Excelent
Your suit has a huge collar gap, Kirby !
Cloth too light and fit too tight at the chest. Also something wrong with shoulder width and padding.
Yeah it’s really strangely cut. It throws off his entire proportion - makes his neck look even longer than it is.
I’d recommend having his shoulder pitch pushed more forward on his pattern, if you look, the front of his shoulder is pushing forward causing it to be more tight. Causing the collar to space.
Fix that collar gap Kirby !

While you were visiting you should have asked them to shorten the collar on your jacket -- it is standing away from your neck. Unsightly gap.
He’s like an older posh English version of Mike Patton

I spotted this too, notes for the Editor I think
"You wouldn't go to a doctor and tell them what medicines you want prescribed" .........God I wish that was true.
My latest lampshade is made from the skin of my enemies
Shirt maker use to made Thomas Shelby suits
lol the voice of the editor at 49:42 really threw me off
