well maybe i shouldnt have mentioned it then haha
You were incorrect about the spare wheel. It was a stocky yellow, but not the same as the wheels it has. It was a 16 x8 SV 5000 wheel painted yellow
According to HSV you’re incorrect, spare wheel in the car is correct
@@MindieJ I doubt it. I remember these cars when they came out and all the one's my mates had all a painted yellow wheel same as those on the SV 5000. Perhaps there was a handful with the steely but I can put money ALL the ones I came across had the painted alloy. I found it strange at first but it was what it was. Whoever you spoke to at HSV is wrong.
@@tonymontana897 ok
As is I would guess around the $40k mark
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)
Very nice. Will it be converted back to factory auto?
most likely no
Mindiej93 Hopefully it goes back to original if you can
I got a vp clubsport in manual if you wanna add to the collection
What's wrong with it how much
Its about to go get resprayed hasn't been listed yet nsw car
Haha one is enough
Well let me know how much before you decide to list it please mate cheers
sick mate dads got a mint vp clubby
Gotta love a nice Senator
theyre a great car
@@MindieJ I wish you and your boss luck getting decent parts for it !
Very hard to find these days , plus covid tax prices are off chops
Hey Bro the Fog lights aren't Genuine nice car tho Worked at HSV plant in clayton for a many years
how can you tell?
@@MindieJ I’d have to agree, the fog lights don’t look right. The lenses look too clear, factory ones have lines in the lens like the headlights. They haven’t been available new for years and when I got my pair they were $1000 second hand. They were only fitted to the senators and the VQ carprice.
A mate of mine has a vp clubbie 92. 8 plus
sounds like a keeper
Sweet Dream Car!
thanks Nate
Should be Bridgestone as a spare
great shape
Love a sennie but still think i'd prefer your exec!
me also, this isnt my sort of thing, cant really mod it it hurts the value, much rather the exec im not worried about thrashing
This didnt happen to come from wa did it? If so I know the car and can confirm it being stored very securely for a long time
nah was country VIC
@@MindieJ Ah okay looks and sounds identical to a vehicle a friends dad owned for years manual converted similar ks etc
@@Swwa89 unless it was 20 years ago then definitely not this car
Cool car. I was wanting to see what happen with the diff... don’t tell me next weeeeeek
next weeks video haha, its already done
It's probably worth $32,000 ??. As I've seen them up to $40k on carsales.
maybe for a mint condition one
@@MindieJ The one for $40k had 200,000km on it! I wouldn't pay that much.. covid tax has thrown the price of 2nd hand Aussie built V8s up.. I just paid $25k for a 2008 black XR8 with all options in showroom condition and only 54,000k and I thought even that was a little over priced
@@mrbrad4637 200k one on Carsales will be on there for a very long time
@@MindieJ I agree it will be, wayyy overpriced..
Anyone know somewhere i can get a Vn diff (Brake to Brake) New? Do any companies make them?
just rebuild a 2nd hand one
@@MindieJ Man i cant even find one of them close to me! haha
Looks great, not a fan of the velour personally though
wouldnt be the best in the hot weather
My old man had a VP Club Sport from new. The spare was exactly the same as the other 4 wheels (not painted yellow). Dunno if it was the same for the Senator though.
getting lots of conflicting answers on the spare wheel haha
It's the right spare wheel
Hey mate ive got a vx ss and vy ss ute in the garage, hasnt been started in 8-9 years. What do you think will be wrong with it
Lol how am I supposed to know
@@MindieJ don’t ya work in the garage
@@christianservinis5135 i don’t have a crystal ball to know what’s wrong with your cars
If u have bass headphones u can hear beautiful v8 exhaust notes and think car might cost $45000
Haha had to have another camera on the rear bar just to get that sound
I sent you a live message of two photos of a senator where the badges should be on bonnet and guard
thanks mate
My 2017 Mimi with 20k miles is beat up more than that car and I take care of my cars. Nice car your boss has got
haha you gotta take care of your car better man
@@MindieJ it’s not me it’s the a holes parking next to it and California sun
@@keenobservations3050 it’s even worse when others do the damage
I'd say it's worth about $32,000
Nah nah nah, it's a classic! 1m for sure!
She's worth at least 50k as is.
The front badge is positioned too far back towards the front window. Should be further forward.
Ps Nice Vest.
i thought it looked weird, thanks haha
@@MindieJ it looks right to me, I could measure mine if you want
Have to be 27500 all day long if its genuine & got HSV certification
it sure does
