Three really great modules from 4ms, who I might as well admit always have some of the best Eurorack designs around. This is more or less a mini-series of sorts. The Shuffling clock multiplier, Stereo Triggered Sampler and Tapographic Delay, might as well watch them all since there won’t be another video till October 30th BWAHAHAHAAHHAHAAHAH!
Full Transparency 4ms sent me these modules many months ago and did not ask me to review them. I asked them for these to help with the Eurorack for Beginners series, but they were not able to provide them at that time so unfortunately these Modular Minutes are coming quite later than I’d have liked. They allowed me full creative control which I made sure I got hence, there is a contract stating that I can say whatever I want. I want to make sure everyone knows this as transparency and honestly is my goal.

This brought me back - SCM was one of my favorite modules since it came out. Excellent lighting by the way.
I’m so happy to see you here friend. Yes, the SCM actually surprised me. It’s the one module I really enjoyed from the batch of 3. I haven’t found something I liked for shuffling as much as this.
I’m an electronics geek and I don’t have a modular system (WHY NOT?), but I know how to make circuits like these two modules and I think they’re extremely helpful to making new sounds.
These were the some of the first modules I got, before I really had a clue what I was doing, just because they looked useful, and they sure are. Still using them constantly a few years later.

The RCD was such an important module that added a lot to my patches and was one of my better purchases. I’m now excitedly waiting for a SCM in the mail.

Great video! I love videos about utilities, most videos are about that shiny new sequencer or sampler. You won’t have much fun with a rack full of just sequencing and sampling.lol

clock dividers are cool
Well this was timely. Been looking at either a multiplier or a divider for my rack. I use Pam's New Workout for too many other things than to just waste it on clocks, and my Pulsar is really just for my drum modules ATM.
Do you use these for any other not-so-obvious purposes?

How on earth can you sync this up externally?

Cool vid but not gonna lie you should blend l & r a tad in post, don't know if this is just me but having stuff hard-panned gives me headaches.
I feel what you’re saying, I did it on purpose to hopefully help differentiate the straight from the shuffled. I can see your POV though.

If it is an artistic choice to some end in your videos and not unintentional by all means continue, people like me can always turn on mono and communicating information in novel ways is almost always innovative and interesting so if that's what it is than props to ya!
What wattage is that light bulb?
In the video you say you've had these modules for years but in the disclaimer in the description you say that 4ms sent you them a few months ago which is confusing. I'm not against manufacturers providing YT influencers with modules and this content is useful but this could be clearer. Cheers.
Nah, he said he had the _Divider_ for years. This video's about the Shuffling Multiplier.
"Shuffling ..." "broken triplets" yes! "the pocket" no! The Pocket is when the rhythm section (usually drummer and bass guitarist) are LOCKED TOGETHER no matter what the subdivision is. Cheers! :)
