Lovely adventure. I learned to sail in a Wanderer dinghy. A very stable boat and good to learn on. Only sailed over the water in Ireland but Wales looks wonderful.
This is a really nicely put together video - lots of hard work filming and editing this type of content. Thanks for all the time and effort you've put into this.
Many thanks Phil. Yes they take a lot longer to do, however I really enjoy doing them. Have a few little movie course lined up when I have the time so hopefuly they'll get a bit better and more polished!!
Great adventure. Love your boat. Norman in his Wanderer? I saw him sail into Aberystwyth some time ago. He sailed all the way from Anglesey on his own I believe.
@@stuartmenziesfarrant Yes cracking little boat that Wanderer. He sails that thing everywhere and in all kinds of weather. Sails like a little witch!!!
@@SailingWithDave The Wanderers came to my Club for "Wanderfest" last year, a bunch of them camped at the club and day sailed: a friend organised it and I sailed with him, nice little boat, friendly class, I enjoyed it. They are coming back this year, and the Wayfarers are doing a similar thing, I hope to join in with both.
@@roberteastwood9886 That sounds great. I do like the Ian Proctor boats, The Wayfarer seems to have probably the best reputation of all of them and I was very impressed with the Wanderer too. I also love the Prelude yacht which looks like a nice step up if and when the the time comes! I can definitely see myself having one of these dinghys at some stage!!
Haha. I have to admit I've been hugely inspired by Erik and how he does his videos. No-one doing it for dinghies though!! Interestingly I noticed he used the same music as me on one of his recent videos, however as I post about 3 months after the fact I had already edited, chosen the music and posted my vidoe long before he had. He must have a spy in my house!!! I think it's the cat!!! ;-)
Excellent, a really enjoyable watch. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make the vid. Regards.
Many thanks. They do take a little more effort but I really enjoymaking them so i'm really glad you liked it. More to come!!
Cracking stuff mate
Many thanks. Hope you like the next 2!!

I never fail to be impressed by the Wanderer or Wayfarer, Ian Proctor boats. Both stable unyet very good sailers.
