nice looking truck. general question: anyone driven or owned a 4.0l Tundra 2013 rcsb and notice it lags a bit . or any things that would steer you away from purchasing one? drove one recently but hesitated purchasing the truck.
Another question .I understand I can find the info online. However, why not ask an owner😀. I know rcsbeds have 6' and change bed, but what is the wheelbase length, center of the front axle to rear. Thanks for your time and content. 👍
@socalexpeditions Thank you for the quick response, unfortunately I'm out in Jersey. I thought I had the unicorn, my Tundra has 50K miles, you got me beat. I have the center console as well, it's a bummer, the column shift is 1000x better. I do have a rear sliding window, lol.! I hope you continue posting videos of that PERFECT truck...!!!
Did you custom finish the mounting hardware for the outer ring? Factory center cap or aftermarket 3D printed? Love the refinished wheels...labor of love truly shines through! 🔥
Question Sir - Having my RW Wheels Powder Coated ... They are having a REALLY Hard time removing the wheel ring screws ? Something about the steel screws seizing inside the aluminum wheels ?? You mention a " real labor of love " Just wondering about the process for you ?
Soak everything in PB blaster for 3-4 days. Use a torch on the inside of the wheel where the bolt is for 60-90 seconds. Hit it with a driver using a Wiha Terminator Blue T30
No but it’s simple and included in the instructions from coastal offroad. In the front wheel wells, you remove the inner plastic clip for the fender line (the bottom section that’s pinned into the frame. Very front corner on each side. Remove the 3 10mm from the bumper plastic piece to skid plate (the muddles bolts). Remove the tow hooks. Then reach in and remove the 4 bolts on each side that hold the bumper in. Make sure the fog light wiring isn’t attached and remove the bumper. 5 minute removal with a ratcheting wrench!
These are the wheel spacers: amzn.to/3ubvbjX The Kenda's are 35x10.50r17. And no, I did not use TRD lug nuts (HUGE waste of money). I used these: amzn.to/495tN1l As long as your torque it with a torque wrench, you wont wallow out the forged wheel.
I figured they were either painted or different brand because I could only find silver lug nuts. @@socalexpeditions Looks like you only installed the spacers on the front? Think you would have rubbing with 35x12.50r17?
All those trade-offs and workarounds just for the winch. Did you consider a different bumper or winch mount that was better designed? Also not impressed with the trees cut out in the front of the bumper. Paint or powder coat will fail there first.
There aren’t many bumpers out there I liked unfortunately. This one was the best for my style preference. It has probably 4 layers of paint on top of powder, so let’s see how long it stays rust free. I originally was going to do an OEM bumper with a hidden winch, but I could only run it in the chrome bumper. Or convert my bumper to the plastic paint matched one…which didn’t seem like an upgrade.
I know you build your trucks and then eventually sell them. If you’re planning on doing that with this one I’d be seriously interested in buying this one from you. Looks awesome🤙🏻
Question for you guys. Does it look like the video is dropping frames?
Yes
@@ORG4Runna Thanks will have that fixed next video
"I can sleep on the ground just fine" I hear ya on that lol Truck is 🔥🔥🔥
Yessir. Pretty easy to sleep on the ground 😂 Easier than any roof top tent ordeal lol.
I love this build. Awesome truck. One of my top 5 dream trucks ever is a single cab TRD Off-road Tundra with a 2018+ front end/rear end conversion
This will be getting a front end swap some day! But I think I could get the 3rd gen front on this.
Super bad ass truck! You should get the mirror inserts and door handles color matched aswell! I have the same truck shout out from Phoenix AZ
May consider that! Thanks for watching

I wouldn’t buy the Tundra with the V6. The engine is already pretty slow in a Tacoma. The resale value is also lower.

Sorry, so many questions. Was also wondering why you wanted to move the reservoir in front of the bracket? Isn't it more protected back there?
I think it'd look pretty clean in front of the bracket...but as it sits in the video is how I'd left it. I stopped caring lol.
Think it looks good either way. Very clean build! @@socalexpeditions
Did u coat the rock warrior lip bolts black? What coating did you use
@@keitherickson4754 Rustoleum satin black. Year later looks great.
beautiful truck, i have a 2014 single cab long bed 4x4 on a 6 inch linch and 35 a/t
Great choice with going with the rock warriors 🔥
Thanks man I think they look awesome!
nice man, definitely want to see rock sliders, maybe high clearance rear bumper, and lights!
All those will be in the future of this build…HC bumper next year or so.
Did you happen to make a video of the bumper removal? Love the build 🤙🏽

Do you have a link to the spidertrax spacers you used? Also wondering if those Kenda 35's are 12.5 and if you used the TRD lug nuts?
These are the wheel spacers: amzn.to/3ubvbjX
The Kenda's are 35x10.50r17. And no, I did not use TRD lug nuts (HUGE waste of money). I used these: amzn.to/495tN1l

Looks like you only installed the spacers on the front? Think you would have rubbing with 35x12.50r17?
I think 12.50 vs 10.50 is 51mm width difference, so 25.5mm (1in) further inside.
@@Carebearcrbr I have 1.25" front and rear. I would probably rub with the spacers and a 12.5" tire on compression.
Is crazy that 35" tires dont even look big on the truck. You can tell they will tuck into the fender wells with room to spare.
Truck looks awesome man good work! What’s the sizing you went for the tires…I’m not sure if you mentioned it in the video?
35x10.50r17!
