If you want to use Topaz Sharpen AI after Topaz DeNoise AI, the sharpening in DeNoise should be down to 0, because the AI only works on the main function.
DeNoise only has AI in the denoise function and not in sharpening.
Sharpening has AI only in the sharpening and not in the denoising function.

Have you not tried masking within Topaz denoise?.

Absolutely agree on the weird color/demosaicing taking place when sending over a RAW. Denoise AI is a good piece of software, if used with TIFF/JPG. For RAW images PureRaw is superior since it preserves colors and also improves sharpeness and optical faults of your lens. If you want to denoise after editing, PureRaw is unfortunately is useless, but then Denoise AI steps in.

I last tested PureRAW vs Topaz on RAW files before DeNoise really was designed for RAW. Unfortunate to see that now DeNoise is optimized for RAW, that their demosaicing has a lot of work left. Fortunately it does work great on Tif and jpg.

The video I mentioned about Topaz Sharpen AI is not on UA-cam and is part of my Mastering the Digital Darkroom: geni.us/master-digitaldarkroom
