George did some wonderful looking modifications to the plans. my father built a TT720 in the mid 1980's, it was good, but not as good as Thank You George.
Yes, George built a really solid straight-forward TT720. He even upgraded to foam/glass floats and poly/glass beams. I did all the redesign/reno - emulating later Farrier developments. Here's the FB page I kept over the 5-year rebuild: facebook.com/trailertriagain/
@@djmydlack well kudos to you, it certainly has given the old design a very modern look. I have a Haines hunter tramp, Ian's first production design ,so am a bit of a farrier fan boy myself.
Hi Dan: Merry Christmas! I just stumbled upon your video's on UA-cam. Very nice meeting you. I have a multi sort of sailboat question or more to ask you, if you are willing to answer. I will try and add a pic or 2 in my email to you....here goes. This boat in my yard is a PROJECT. I bought it without it having a centerboard. It is a Sandpiper 565. I am thinking of converting it to a trimaran using a couple hobie 14 hulls.(should I say (ama's?). I am also thinking maybe building leeboards. I think a flaw in its build was the centerboard, so I am not even consider8ng a replacement centerboard...I thinkmaybe with the shape of the hull, my best choice would be the leeboard set would be the best route! Do you agree to that choice? Of course, I am trying to sell it for the past two years...but no buyer's. Ha,ha..
Praise the Lord. Good for you, and George.

@@timothybrown8807 Buy that's a complicated question. So many variables.
Well done! 👍👍
Unusual delivery, but what else would I expect. Did you ever get a reason why he sold it so cheaply? Obviously he sold it to the right person.
He was up against a deadline to move and I think he had a sentimental attachment to the boat beyond a need for money.
