- Enjoy sweet moments around the tree with the littlest elephants in the herd: Khanyisa, Timisa and Pisa. Khanyisa happily bothers Timisa with trunk-butts as Timisa climbs over logs. Pisa comes in for a very close up greeting with Adine and her sister, Limpopo (who never misses a chance to get involved) joins her with trunk-investigations. Tokwe moves about in the background, along with Bubi and Somopane, ensuring the youngsters are all watched over as they play and engage with their natural world. Join Khanyisa and her carers, Last and Joshua for milk bottles afterwards, as the bottles look tinier and tinier in that growing trunk!

Lovely to see these beautiful elephants enjoying themselves. 😅😅❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love this sweet elephant family! 😘❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘❤️
What a lovely gathering of the elephants with their chosen tree the perfect scratch post and sweet moments of silly bonding play for the littles Cupcake & Sunshine;she says hurry it up Joshua your too slow for this impatient imp😅🍼The 2 beautiful sisters Limpopo and Pisa come in close to say hello which I always love and of course like mother like daughters with their majestic Royalty worthy looks Tokwe & her girls are just perfect in so many ways. Thank you team for yet another magical video of this special family they make my heart happy and feed my soul.🌸💗👑🐘💛
I'm remembering how difficult it was to bottle feed Khanyisa when she arrived in January 2020. Her poor mouth was badly injured by that awful snare. Lots and lots of gentle perseverance from Adine ensured she managed to drink with the minimum of discomfort and here we are and she will soon be weaned off her milk completely!! What an incredible achievement. She is happy, healthy and enjoying life! 💖🐘💖🙏
Always makes my day seeing our beautiful Elephant family 💙, trees are so underrated, providing much needed use for our Herd.i love watching Khanysia bothering others adorable lil minx. Milk time for our Baby, 🍼, like a magician 3 2 1 gone. Also I love the Rumbles Thank you Adine and all the Herd care givers, much love to all 💙🐘❤
BRAVO!!🦋🐘🐑🦒🐕♥️💛🇺🇲
What a wonderful slice of elephant life. No matter the madness in the world, I can always count on laughing at something happening amongst the herd. Their daily lives are governed by simple beauty, and they take the time to enjoy their surroundings. Watching our little girl guzzle those bottles and being pesky makes me laugh every time. She just relishes every drop.
If not for my health, I would give up everything to live on that orphanage and to be of service to this fantastic group. To me, this is the real heaven.
The milk bottles look like doll house size, now that our baby K is getting so big, but I still love watching and slurping her bottles. Thank you for taking such good care of her and the HERD.
🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️
I can't get over how big she is now! Growing like crazy! Just proves how awesome HERD is...people and elephants both 😀
2 gulps, 1 bottle gone, next one....Khanyisa doesn't have time to waste lol! Thanks for sharing Adine 👍 😊
Goodness gracious me, Kanyisa IS getting big, isn't she?
Kaynisha!!! ❤omg 🐘
Now, THIS is a get-together ❤️
As you see, you don't have to be born to the herd, but you are still family. I love this HERD!
👍🐘❤️
Interesting interaction starting at 3:00 mins in. Khanysia and Timisa playing with Timisa having one leg over the branch. Limpopo seems to realize it's an accident waiting to happen. She uses her trunk to get Timisas leg over the branch so she is not hurt or falling while playing with Khanysia. This is interesting to me as it seems Limpopo has forethought and can see the danger. Truly amazing.
I noticed that too! Her gentle guidance at that moment seemed very proactive and purposeful - a preventive action by an elder looking out for the young one’s safety.
@@IlGattonero13 Things like this really interest me. Most people believe animals are just dumb...well animals. This shows so much intelligence. It would mean she assessed the situation and saw that an action could have a consequence. Highly intelligent. We have all seen the emotions side of these wonderful Elephants, but actual forethought is amazing. Things like this are a very teachable event. They really are very complex beings.
Yes, that was absolutely amazing and thoughtful of Limpopo! I too, was very impressed. So special!💕😯🥰
Watching them love each other like this and seeing them so happy makes me want to cry and I'm one of those Big Boys Don't Cry kind of guys how in the hell could anyone harm something as amazing and magnificent but I guess there's people in the world who don't look at any of those things that are magnificent around us that God has put on this Earth for us where their bellies have become their god. One day I can see it in my mind a great herds of Africa and elephants will one day retrace their migration trails from one tip of Africa to the next
Love your comment your one of the good guys
True words.
Beautifully worded. Would love to see that also.❤🐘
Unfortunately, mankind thinks they are superior to all. That is NOT the case in my book. If we watched and listened to nature , animals, trees, and all , we could see animals are amazing teachers. I have learned so much about myself by watching nature and learning balance. Not to mention the peace I have when I am out in it. People just don't get it. I believe animals are incredibly smart with built-in features we will never understand. I love animals, and I would die defending one. SeaShepherd is a fantastic organization. I I have followed Captain Watson for 10 years or better.
Thank you for caring.
George, what an extraordinary vision, indeed. It's my fervent hope that people find ways to accommodate the relationship between humans who live in the African countryside and these amazing creatures.
Earth is in need of triage on a few levels. Habitat loss and a harsher climate are realities that don't bode well for all of us.
The looming sixth great extinction isn't fake news even if too many are led to believe thusly.
All this, despite scary weather events ramping up by the year.
Here's to humanity rising to the occasion - to everyone realizing that we're all in it together.
Mighty blessings your way.

Hi khanisa ❤️ hi 👋 all of you 🍀 hi the elephants 🐘❤️ family
It's amazing to me how there are a few allomothers to the babies of the Herd. Elephants are amazing 💞 carers ❤️
I loved this video of the Big wonderful Elephants having lots of fun 💗 💓 ❤
Love the close-ups of the elephants! Great view of Pisa's mouth and Limpopo's curious trunk. So cute to see Miss Pinkylicious trying to get Timisa to play. Goodness me, those milk bottles do look tiny now! And the carers have to stretch a little to reach when baby K has the bottle in her mouth 😊❤🐘🍼❤
It's always nice to see the 3 youngest elephants in the HERD together. And of course Khaynisa 🐘 being the youngest loves to spar and pester Timisa 🐘. Pisa 🐘 it is always nice to see you. You can see just how strong Limpopo's 🐘trunk is picking up that old branch on the other side of the tree.
Then we get to see Khaynisa 🐘 drinking her bottles 🍼🍼🍼. How true they are looking tinier and tinier amongst her ever growing body. Have a great day Jabulani 🐘 HERD. Love ❤️ from Florida. ❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘❤️
Ben detto cara Dorothy.Italia sabato ore 20,34
Such a big pretty baby, batching up with Timisa
What a lovely opening scene. Tokwe, who always seems so placid whilst keeping a close eye and Bubi, off a bit in the distance like she likes to be-ever vigilant of all that is happening around her. It was great to see the 3 munchkins P & T & K so close together. Meisiekind loves giving Timi love bites because she really has come to love her as a sister and friend. Even Pisa didn't amble off. She lifted her trunk to salute Adine and Limpopo did the same. All was peaceful and just a joy to watch. Have a wonderful weekend HERD and to all!
How Beautiful is this to see...omg❤❤❤😊
DEUS ABENÇOE A TODOS👈👈 ❤❤❤💥
Beautifully put...happy weekend to you!🦋🐘💗🇺🇲

LOLOLOL Timisa really likes to test her agility, she is the wild child. LOLOLOL
Tutto il branco è molto sereno, non violento grazie alla vostra educazione La loro vita è iniziata in modo sfortunato ma ora va tutto benissimo ❣️❣️❣️
Hai detto il giusto Orietta.
You can barely tell she’s albino anymore ❤
When she's been in the dam, all cleaned up, her pink is definitely more evident, but you're right: some days Khanyisa blends right in.
❤️🐘🌍
Nice to see the three youngsters playing around their favorite tree and having fun with one another ❤
What a delightful video! So many individual moments I could single out to comment on, but will simply say overall the trunks impressed me so much. I also really love the way the various grey colors (and Khanyisa's light pinkish grey) of each individual seemed to be emphasized with the soft overcast and grey skies in the background. Of all the footage I've watched this video really brought that out, along with excellent detail in the close ups.
My sentiments exactly 💯 👌 👏
Hi all those bottles didn't take long to go love watching the herd. Thank you everyone who plays there part in looking after these beautiful animals xxxxx 🇬🇧🌹🌹🌹
Down the hatch❤
Good morning from Denver Colorado! Have enjoyed watching Khanyisa grow up and can’t wait to see her grow in to an adult. Thank you for sharing the herd with us!
Thanks 🙏 for working hard 😓 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🙏🌍🕊️
They all look so healthy and happy!
I adore the relationship between Pisa and Timisa and of course Limpopo ♥
Their sisterly love encompasses everything sisters feel for each other. It teaches Timisa how to deal with, teach and love Khanyisa in turn and it so beautiful to watch 💞💞💞
So quick and everything goes dry again... what a pity. Many good Vibs to the HERD, with four and two legs... 😄😉
Elephants have VERY LONG chin whiskers.
Awwwww always love seeing Khanyisa having her milk bottles, bless her. Thk u Last and Joshua.
Khanyisa loves playing with Timisa and Pisa, under the watchful Limpopo.
Thk u Adine and Carers and Ele's 🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰 xx
Khanyisa has really mastered the speed drinking technique 🐘🍼🍼🍼
So precious!! Just love these beautiful Girls! 💜🐘💜🐘💜🐘!!!
Thankyou Adine Ma'am and the team for this wonderful video of my Angel Khanyisa and all the Angels
The bond between Timisa and Khanyisa is awesome~👍
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
Khanyisa is growing so nicely. You would never know she was hurt the way she was. She loves Timisa so much its adorable.
Khanyisa berrà il latte ancora per molto tempo...? Le bottiglie finiscono sempre più velocemente 💞💞💞
@Tom Morrison Thank you 👍🙋🏻
I love how Limpopo helps Timisa get free of the dead branch.
❤😂🐘🐘🌳
Limpopo è una femmina attenta che osserva e interviene con le piccole se c'è un pericolo.
Lovely Timi with cute eyes😍
Poor baby K was waiting for apples and other fruits after drinking milk. Lastly, when no fruits come, she turned and went😢😔Sad
🫶Tree huddles fur the herd🌳🐘🐘🌿🐘Fed watered, now, let’s play. 🍼🐘 “Thank you for my milk. I think I’ll join the others around the tree.” 🌳 🐘💞
Tokwe looks over at the little ones with what I would call, pride and affection.

Giusto!
You could say Elephants are Tree Huggers.
😂❤🐘🐘🌳
Its just so sweet seeing these wonders, I cant help but frown…stops me from cryin out loud these are the real treasures of earth✨
Si sono i veri tesori!💗
Khanysa looked like she was ready for a nap after her bottles 😴.
It makes me want a herdful of elephants in my backyarc when I watch these beautiful creatures! Family togetherness at its finest!!
Delightful video 😍. Limpopo is very curious 😄😃❤. Khanyisa and Timisa are besties 🐘💞🐘. Pisa ❤. Time to drink milk 😋🍼🍼🍼🐘. Khanyisa gets gentle scratch from Adine . Thank you for share ❤.
She is growing up, isnt she. Much love.
That's a dolls bottle, you are ģetting smaller ones to make her think she's getting the same. Shame Khanyisa what are they doing to you?❤❤❤❤
I sure will miss these milk bottle slurps when Khanyisa is weaned.
Aí, aí!!! Khanyisa e Tímida!!! E como são todos lindos!!!❤❤
I love SO MUCH the closing-up on their trunks, glamourous eyes and hairy mouths! It's so beautiful and adorable!!💖💖💖💖💖💖
Both look the same size is Khanyisa growing fast or Timi is growing slow?
She's a growing girl LOL and a very rare one I'm not sure the other ones really understand or know that maybe they do I do and have noticed a lot of times they do keep watch some of the other ones in the background they seem to be keeping watch I find that interesting
Pisa wants a treat lol.
Such a peaceful time. It's amazing how much Khaniysa has grown. Thank you for sharing this.
Always such a pleasure watching these gentle giants. Our pink princess is getting so big now, but still so adorable.
Khanyisa just loves her big sister and her big sister loves her also khanyisa is getting bigger but she will always be my baby girl love her so much and the rest of the herd please send more 😊😅🎉😂❤
How much longer will kahnisha be fed her bottles😊😊😊
Adine has mentioned that they're beginning to wean her this year, the same as if Khanyisa was a regular 'toddler' with her birth mom.
❤🐘
I still remember when it was 5 minutes between bottles. Even then she was reluctant to finish. She is growing up, Adine! You all do a great job with these elephants. I wonder... 🤔 can their combined knowledge of human kindness ever be transferred to the species at large?
Their memory has been noted for at least a century - even in academic studies. Unfortunately, that includes memories of extreme brutality done by humans. In that vein - as long as poaching is still a great threat - it's tough to see how thinking well of all humans could possibly benefit their species.
That's why it is so amazing to me that many kinds of whales, despite their bad experiences with humans hunting them even today, are willing to engage peacefully with humans in many circumstances.
Ben detto!
@@vivianaiacomelli3080 Grazie mille!
@@mortalclown3812 Yes, I share your wonder at the gentle interaction of humans who dare to swim with Sperm or Blue Whales, who could kill us with the flick of a tail fluke.
Your point about the elephants is well taken, but some of the HERD elephants are native to the reserve. You're probably aware that Adine's Mother chose a large property adjacent to Kruger National Park, which I believe is the largest reserve, by area, for native plants and wild animals on the African Continent.
I also wonder at the baby animals who were rescued -- do they recall any of their initial terror. I remember how Khanyisa screamed and shivered at the touch of a human, on arrival, but then I recall how Adine sat up with the frightened animal all-night stroking her leg and flank, trying secretly to sneak a peek under that right ear and in general, assess her wounds like a trained nurse.
I'll be honest. That's the moment that I fell in love with the woman.
Khanyisa has been cared for by HERD for over three years. Does she remember the traumatic wound that brought her there?
Humans forget early experiences because our brain rearranges itself from age 18 months to 3 years, in a process called "sparing." We aren't yet sure about large mammals. If sparing is related to language development, then we'll have to rethink sparing in elephants.

Cuteness overload ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Limpopo. Hey y’all getting treats? Let me check your mouth lil sis. Khanyisa is really growing. Enjoyed as usual
Timisa would like some as well, please. 😢
This is awesome. Love this video. 😊
African Elephant Family Movie
Until you said, Come Timi', I was wondering how you had managed to keep Timisa away from her while she was eating! Now she's even taller than the guys. I remember when she was small enough to lift. And still so little when pictured with the rest of the herd. I forget, they're Elephants!!☺️😘😘
Khanyisa is growing up so fast and she loves you guys so much.
Fun fun fun playing 😊❤
They are so funny... i watch them every day.❤❤❤❤
Happy fahers day to all of you there to the herd your all doing a great job for the herd and epecial greeting to you adine your the best leader of the pack greetings from here in new york u.s.a god bless everyone l hope one day l will go in visit the herd.
😊👍
Wow! Looks like a PARTY!
Khanyisa is huge. You're going to have BIG trouble stopping the Milk Bottles.
She’s a big girl now
I’m guessing that a trunk in another elephant’s ear or mouth is some kind of social thing. They do it to each other all the time
Khanyisa’s eyelashes are so long! ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
How old was Khaneysha when she first picked up the bottles of milk and fed herself?
We
Does Timisa still require milk?
Idk what it is about elephants. They're just such beautiful animals. I'm not sure if poachers are a problem for this herd or not but imo poachers that are caught killing animals at all they deserve death.
According to statistics, capital punishment isn't a deterrent - look at Texas and Florida. (The US is the only 'civilized' Western country where it's still employed.)
Beyond that, it's difficult to see how wishing death in any situation solves the problem. However, prison sentences for those who harm wildlife need to be far greater.
I wish sanctions would be placed upon nations who still allow whale hunting, ivory trade, etc. If they suffered economically, it would cut into the demand.
Si Brandy la MORTE DOLOROSA.
@@mortalclown3812 I understand that it doesn't solve all problems but I hate it so much that I actually wish death upon them (poachers) I was really using it to get my point across.
@@mortalclown3812 and I agree completely about the whale hunting sanctions etc but in all honesty they can die too in my opinion.

I enjoyed the love fest at the tree. Such lovely animals. Khanyisa is getting so big! That milk was gone in the blink of an eye. Happy Saturday, everyone!❤❤
