just graduated as well and decided not to go to college because I want to pursue acting since its what I am extremely passionate about. My parents think its just gap year but honestly if things go as planned I don't think ill ever go to college. Most people don't get it though and that is fine, I just wish are society wasn't so focused on making money and being "secure" because to me the people that take risks are the truly successful ones.

My advice: take a personality test, see what things fit you! Don’t jump into anything because you feel pressured, you need to have at least some sort of interest in what you do, and a purpose behind why you want to do it. Also, don’t feel rushed. We often think we have to have everything figured out at once to move forward. Let me tell you this: I am a senior in my college degree right now, graduate in may, and I still, yes STILL have hopes of pursuing other things in the future, because I’m a multi-dimensional person, and who says you have to stay at one thing for the rest of your life? Nothing is finite, just remember that okay? There isn’t a time limit on dreams, or aspirations. Keep thriving for greatness, and greatness will come to you.
I’m 22 and I went to college to get my BA in interior when I was 18 but dropped out the first year cause I didn’t feel like continuing and obviously my mum was livid cause she already paid for the second year, but she always supports whatever I do. And now I finally realized what I’m good at and what I want to do, so I decided to sell my home and buy a little cottage in Provence, hopefully I’ll go to college in the future when I get exhausted of all the cheese,wine,scenery and the sweet life in Bonnieux. College only gives you a degree that would be your passport to get a job in your preferred field 0f study, but there are many other ways you could get more educated than a college student if your open your mind and explore different fields yourself.
Dude I've felt the same way this past year. All the college days we had it just never felt right to go to college for me. I graduated and heard about trade schools, definitely also something to look in to! The opportunity is so high and the need for them is more than it ever has been. That's my plan to become a welder.

GREAT BANDS... but they would some how fall apart for stupid fkn reasons... So now that I'm 28 went back to college for Medical Billing and Coding... Now just waiting a month to take a test and become Certified... Always try for your passion first... because if u don't your soul will feel bad cause you never tried... like you said YOLO

I’m going through the same thing Kelly was with soccer. I’m on the highest team in my club but I also don’t want to go to practices and games. When I think about having a big tournament this weekend I get mad and stressed out. And there are areas in my skill level that definitely need improvement but the thought of spending hours working in my backyard practicing those thing makes me even more mad and stressed. I don’t like the feeling missing a shot and losing a game, but I also don’t like the feeling of working my ass off to get better. And that makes me feel lazy. But I don’t want to be a lazy person that just gave up
omg the soccer thing happened to me with karate. my mom really wanted me to continue doing it because I had been doing it for like 6-7 years and she thought it was really good for me but it gave me anxiety and I didn’t really like it anymore. it’s cool to hear that someone else has had the same experience. 👍🏻

I was scared of how my life would start to path at that point, but now im fine, im having some job interviews and just waiting.
I'm already in college doing physics,I like what I'm studying but it's really very pressuring. But what keeps me motivated is that I'm not interested in any other thing. It's really one life and we must enjoy it. If u r interested to study something at college then go on! yeah, gap years are great. I went to college for one year and I'm currently am taking a gap year this year. I loved college but I just didn't know what I wanted to major in, and classes are expensive so I went a similar route. But honestly college is fun as shit so I would highly recommend it.

I’m going into my 5th semester of college this upcoming fall - I’ve only changed my major once but I am already 2 semesters behind due to the program I was following during my first year at a University (right after high school because I was granted the opportunity to play football at the collegiate level). I actually wrote a 15 paged research paper on the psychological benefits and societal consequences of taking a gap year, as well as why a gap year program should be implemented to my then-school. Tbh, this is my first video of yours I’ve watched standing alone from Braille, but I think this is a wise decision. My conclusion in the paper was that the benefits definitely outweigh the costs of taking a gap year - IF you structure it properly. You have a platform to network and know many people in the work you want to continue to do, so charge it!!! Best of luck, man!

She's the only one working in this house and it's a okay job but not enough and she doesn't want me to go through with my future family like she does now. But I'm only 14 rn,so I've 4 more to think about. Also in my country there's no dorms,parties and all that in colleges. You go there,study as crazy,go back home and repeat
I feel like gap years are more common in Australia then it is in America. I don’t know if that makes sense. But most people I know will always have a gap year before going to uni (college) to save up money and sometimes travel. Where as it just seems like Americans dive head first into college and more education. Have fun on your gap year and just live your life!!

But most people I know will always have a gap year before going to uni (college) to save up money and sometimes travel. Where as it just seems like Americans dive head first into college and more education. Have fun on your gap year and just live your life!!
