It's great to see you work! (selfishly) I have an fcx24 with a Chevrolet K5 body which only comes with front lights. I'd love to make/3D print sockets for the rear lights. Seeing you modifying a much harder body gives me the confidence that doing the K5 is doable. Not easy, but doable. Keep up the good work!
I have thought of it. I think given the lens, maybe removing that and drilling a hole could be enough. I havent looked at it but I have a video coming soon with more of the blazer!
That looks amazing. I love it! Never had the Brat, I had a Frog and a mate from school had a Brat. We both wanted to swap bodies!! lol I wanted the Brat because it looked so cool, and he wanted the Frog body because of how much easier the Brat body was to damage. I'd be a bit careful driving this now with the lights, but it would look spectacular being driven at night. As an fyi, here in Australia, the Brat was called a Brumby. Brumbies are what we call wild horses, where you in the US call them Mustangs. 😉
I have never seen a tamiya that is so easily damages as the Brat. They crumble at the slightest provocation. This one here has never even been rolled but I do run the hell out of it, lol!
Nice work! I am totally impressed at how precise the fitment of the replacement lenses were! Do you know if this year of actual production Brat had the center flip-up headlight (passing light)? The grille seems to imply its shape. That would be a REALLY cool addition!
@@AMPROEngineering I remember my sister and brother-in-law had a Subaru something in the 80's that had the center light. I thought it was awesome! Consider this to be peer pressure to build and animate the center headlight; "...all the cool kids have a center headlight on their Brat..." 😋
There was link to the video with the kit install in the video (at 11 min, it is episode 39). As for the light kit, look on eBay. I cant have any links as the vendors constantly change and they are never good for more than a few weeks.
Its amazing.I have made a greek unimog firetruck from 3d and i want to put lenses for the lights.Do you have any idea how to make them. The spray that you used is the tamiya for painting?
Excellent result, this is the way it should have been done from the beginning!
Thank you! Agreed. I think given the age of the mold, ill give Tamiya a pass....this time....hahah!
Always love some lights
Oh yeah me too!
Brilliant light kit!! Love it!! 😎Always enjoy your vids of these lighting kits, need more!! 😎
Well thanks! I have a thing for lights!

@@AMPROEngineering It's a shame, as it's a very accurate body, maybe not the wheels and stance lol.
I have seen the front and back parts OEM for this Brat for about $30 so not too bad, nothing pricless was wrecked!
Shame....next time. hahaha!
Love your videos. Keep up the excellent work!!
Thank you!
Love this!
It is made possible by you. Seriously.
First? 😮😅
To the video now...
Edit: lights! Oh incredible lights! I'm also crazy about a good operational light kit. 😁
Thank you!
❤❤❤❤ Wow 😮😳
haha! Thanks!

Indeed, this is the year where you could have the center light. I am contemplating making that too.

So to make the lights, I use an SLA printer. All the paints are Tamiya (the ones I show).
