Clayton Schick you are the best UA-camr for fishing for walleye that are massive big and your my favorite UA-camr and I love the content you give us for your fans truly your number one fan ❤.
I’m hooked on the kalins google eye and 4” jerk minnow after seeing you use them, I’m definitely expanding my walleye fishing from watching your channel, I usually trolling a spinner and chub minnow or slip bobber leeches and chubs but I got to say I caught my bigger fish on the jig and plastic. So excited to get out and try more of your techniques. Thank you!
Cool video, think I'll need to get some of those search baits. Also, the difference in clarity between livescope and mega live is huge. Livescope is in a league of its own.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors I have a Garmin, but currently just have a side imaging transducer. I do alright, but next big upgrade will be adding a livescope transducer to my setup.
add a V nott just above the leader with about 1inch tail. I fish saltwater with floating weeds and this is the only way to keep the weeds off the hook when trolling or casting
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Of course we are trolling large deep diver plugs in 40 plus feet of water for Gag grouper with 60# test mono running about 6 knots. The weeds are from the shrimpers nets and make our plugs come to the surface and is annoying.
What bump board do you use? It looks like you have a bigger one folded up but with measurements on the back of the folded up part as well to save space. I like that idea
Quick question Clayton is there a polarized lens option for your GoPro to be able to see in the water better? Or is the camera able to pick up Better clarity on its own?
Hello Claton, I was just wondering if you have tried a jerk bait ether shallow of deeper type. Having a fish crush a jerk bait is epic 😎. Tight lines. Cheers, Steven.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Right on, they changed my area to nothing over 46cm this year, a lot of people are pissed, but I’m glad they did it. Love when you mix up the tactics! Just goes to show we all need a tackle box
Wow I'd for sure take an end of the day like that heck with the northerns.
I do love my Pike fishing :)
Another great video with Clayton!!! Love them all!!!🎉🎉🎉
Appreciate you watching the videos!

Really appreciate your kind words!
Cool lure. Looks very similar in concept to the Erie Dearie
A cross between that and a Northland Whistler jig
My thoughts exactly. Grew up using those for Walleye in Lake Erie
Great video !! Deff picking up that bait , what kind of sunglasses you wearing they are top notch 👍🏻
Hands down...my favorite fish to eat!!!

Jig N Plastics catch bigger fish :) Love it!
congrats on over 100K subs !!
Appreciate that a lot!
I have to say vertical jigging is probably my favorite way to catch Walleye. Nothing beats when they come in and pound the jig🍻
I agree!
I use that search bait with a northland trolling worm. Deadly! Great video Clayton!
Let the fish dictate!!
Love it!
haha :) Cheers!
Happy Father’s Day Clayton!🎉
Looking good, little buddy.

100% Mega Live is so bad compared to Livescope. It's still better than nothing, but NOT EVEN CLOSE to compare...

@@adavis89 smart on working your way up there :). Nothing is cheap these days.
I picked up a bunch of these from Pokeys and haven't had a chance to try yet. Thanks for the tips!!
Picked up a handful of those search baits the other day, no luck yet, but I will keep trying . Thanks for the tips n tricks
They will get better as the summer goes on. Trolling them works good as well, they don't work when the walleye want to eat stuff off the bottom.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors
I am fishing a small bass tournament this weekend, and I will definitely try them out if I can find a school of them 🎣🎣🎣
Clayton come to northern ontario sometime and put those bucktails to use fishing for muskies
Agreed, maybe August!
Another new deadly bait in Clayton's tacklebox?? Dang, man, save some for the rest of us! 😂
HAH!! I LOVE TACKLE!!
Been excited for this one !!
Fun bait!
What are those minnows you are using? We can't get live minnows anymore and I need a good alternative
Thank you Clayton!!!🐐
Sweet!

It's collecting on the line though mid way up and stays attached to it, I know your trick though and that works great!

How do you keep the search bait from tangling up in your line when casting that bait
I'm glad I'm not the only one frustrated by the cotton in the water, jams up everything!
What bump board do you use? It looks like you have a bigger one folded up but with measurements on the back of the folded up part as well to save space. I like that idea
I use a musky bumper!! This day I was using my bigger one :) l
Caught my personal best walleye last friday on the kalins search bait and a crawler, fishing a break that dropped fron 8 to 17 feet

Yes. It’s a polarized lens for it :)
Get the manscape lawnmower 5.0 to keep the fuzz off,...seems like they sponsor every youtuber around?
Haha!! They offered me as well if I had wanted…

Wait for Sundays video :)
Must be keeping up with Tom 😉
Something that was so crazy was Tom and I NEVER talk, and we put out a video today an hour apart from each other with the same bait! Crazy!
These work great for kids in more clear water. Better than bottom bouncer, fish will come way up to bite it.
Yup! You can troll them so nice!!
